Its Mowry Avenue location may also be convenient for people seeking dental care within Fremont.
Feedback points to care related to immediate dental discomfort, X-rays, and conversations about hygiene treatment. One patient who arrived with aching pain said the team helped alleviate the discomfort and explained the process clearly. Other comments specifically describe X-rays followed by discussions of deep-cleaning recommendations. These details may matter to someone seeking a Fremont dentist when a toothache or a proposed periodontal cleaning raises questions. Because each mouth and treatment history is different, patients can use their appointment to ask what the examination shows, why a particular treatment is advised, and what the expected steps involve. The available directory information does not identify a full menu of services, so confirming the purpose of a visit in advance is sensible.
Reviews present both positive and critical perspectives, allowing prospective patients to make a considered decision. Several reviewers describe professional, friendly staff and appreciate receiving fuller explanations when they ask questions. At the same time, other reviewers report concerns about being urged toward deep cleaning, costs, communication at the front desk, and waiting before an appointment. These are individual accounts rather than a clinical assessment, but they underline the value of clear conversations before care begins. Asking for a plain-language explanation of the treatment recommendation, fees, insurance or copay responsibility, appointment timing, and available alternatives can help set expectations. This preparation is especially useful when a visit includes a recommended cleaning or diagnostic imaging.
The setting is a weekday dental office on Mowry Avenue rather than a walk-in evening or weekend option, making it best suited to people whose schedules allow a Monday-to-Thursday visit. It may be a practical local choice for patients who want to discuss dental discomfort, imaging findings, or cleaning recommendations directly with a dental team. A first visit can feel more comfortable when questions are written down in advance and financial details are confirmed before treatment. Patients who value detailed information may prefer to call during business hours and clarify their needs before scheduling. Fremont Dental Excellence gives Fremont, California residents a local starting point for that conversation with the office.

BEWARE: this dental office tried to pressure me into a $500 "deep cleaning" that I cannot afford and DO NOT NEED (per another dentist). I requested a regular normal basic cleaning, and they flat out REFUSED (the front desk lady was extremely rude as well, telling me to find another dentist and laughing at me), so I have not had dental care ever since this happened two years ago (I am poor and my insurance only covers limited dentist offices, none of whom are currently taking new patients, so I cannot change offices). I suspect I need a cavity filled now, but I have nowhere to go to get it filled, since they flat out refuse to help me unless I oblige their $500 shakedown and have my gums unnecessarily pried open. Truly unfortunate since this will negatively impact my long term dental health. Abhorrent, despicable, monstrous behavior. I can think of a few other words to describe the staff at Fremont Dental Excellence, but I cannot say them here.
I visited first time this office on 2/2/2021. A technician took X-ray, then a hygienist came over to discuss a deep cleaning. He stated deep cleaning takes two sections. Each section services only half of the teeth, costs$1076 + $450 co-pay. I told the hygienist I have had deep-cleaning for over 40 years at other dentist offices and always one time treatment. He said it is how they do at his office. I asked to see the dentist but the dentist was not there. I said I came because I have a toothache and asked for a treatment. The hygienist said nicely his office only take x-ray on the first visit then any treatment shall follow for the next appointment. He couldn't help and that is how they do at this office. This office charged my insurance $451 for x-ray +$30 co-pay. too much overcharge. The office is reasonable clean and the people at this office seemed to be nice. But two sections for deep cleaning is hilarious, unreal. And they charge too much for x-ray, deep-cleaning and co-pay, as I experienced. Be aware! I changed to another dentist office.
Worst Dental! Nightmare!!!! Worst Service!!!!! Unprofessional!!! Rude!!!! Don’t waste your money or your time! I went here two weeks ago waited one hour before I was seen by the dentist because he was super busy! Don’t know how they scheduled their patients! Once, the dentist saw me after an hour after my appointment time he couldn’t do my procedure because I had a blister on my lip! Why couldn’t they tell me when I checked it! I didn’t have a mask on! So, one hour 30 minutes gone without any treatment. It was well visible!!!!! Well, today 03/23 I go in again for my filling and the front clerk goes “oh, you are 10 minutes early” I’m like yea because I waited an hour last time so if there is a wait time again then let me know. Anyways, appointment was at 9 they took me in at 9:15 the dentist was in a grumpy mood today. Actually, he was rude, very rude! He gave me one anesthesia on the left side that needed the filling. Then he put these silicon pieces that help keep your mouth open. They were not even my mouth size! I told him that I can’t breathe because it was covering the whole inner side of my mouth. I feel like I was suffocating and I was getting an anxiety attack! He sat me up without even saying “I’ll go look for another one or anything comforting” instead he ignored me! Walked away while I’m looking dumb and totally ignored! Repeatedly, ignored me! I thought dentist are suppose to be kind! I’m not going for free! At least be professional! Please, DO NOT TRUST THIS DENTIST OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!! It was a NIGHTMARE for me! Never ever going back!!!!! Now the left side of my mouth is numb without any procedure!!!! :( What a bad way to start a beautiful morning! Also, they are only nice when you are new patients!
Great experience, super professional and all the staff is friendly which is great since the dental office is not always fun to go to. They will explain in full detail when you ASK about something you DO NOT know or are confused about. So whenever you are confused about something always ask before starting the procedure and they are more than happy to explain it to you.
