Sign in to reviewWe stopped by this cozy French sandwich spot for a quick lunch, and it absolutely hit the spot. I had the turkey club on a buttery croissant—flaky, flavorful, and just the perfect portion. My husband went with the combo special, choosing French bread for his sandwich. Both came with a warm cup of French onion soup, which paired perfectly. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered great recommendations on what to try. We'll definitely be coming back!
I was in town last Thursday and wanted a sandwich to take to the airport. Did a search, saw the high review scores looked at the menu and decided to take a chance. I should not have. Here is what happened... I walked in about 3:45 ish. There seemed to be two people in the back. I walked up to the register and it felt like I stood there for 5 minutes. The man moving around the kitchen did not address or acknowledge me. Finally, he came out. I had been waiting for what I thought was the 2nd person to finish some cleaning task. I placed my order and was told that item was not available because they had started cleaning. I changed my order to roast beef extra cheese and extra meat. I was told it would take 15 minutes until ready. I said OK. I sat at a table in the retaurant looking around. It felt like the place had open in the 90s and nothing had changed since then. Watch another customer come in, be igored, and then finally get helped by the same man from the kitchen. I finally got my food and left putting it in my bag for later. When I pulled the sandwich out 90 minutes later I was suprised how little my $20 sandwich weighed. I do not recommend showing up here anytime just the guy in the kitchen is working by himself. This place was not quaint or pleasant like so many others have described. When I left I wondered how they were still in business with such poor service.
I have been coming here for some time. Best onion soups. Sandwiches have always been consistently good. Today I tried their Jasmine hot tea. Chicken breast sandwich on French bread it was delicious! This place has been around since 1990!
Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill. The food and service just aren't what they used to be. During my last two visits, my sandwich was lacking meat, and the employee who served me and checked me out was incredibly unfriendly. Customer service matters—a simple smile, 'thank you,' or 'have a great day' goes a long way. I won't be returning, which is a shame after coming here for years.
Very good bread that is used on the banh mi. Light and flakey. I was very hungry and ordered “extra meat”. I’m not sure that was what I received as the sandwich itself was pretty light. The flavors are there, but the portion was rather small. Salad had a nice presentation.
