Everyone was very helpful and upfront about the paperwork and process. We received our passports when they said we would. they helped with filling out the application correctly the first time. Their service is worth every penny, to have the peace of mind that you can go on your trim as planed.
So, let me fill you in if you're in a similar situation to me: "Oh crap, my passport expired in January of this year, and I have tickets for an international flight in 3 weeks from today. How the heck am I going to renew my passport in time?" The way to achieve that is securing an appointment with one of the federal agencies. The problem with that though is the closest agencies for someone living in the San Antonio area is going to be in Houston or Dallas. The US Department of State website will have a list of registered courier companies, of which Global Passport Express is one of them. However, the same official government website will also state, "If you use a courier company, you will not receive your passport faster than applying at one of our passport agencies." My parents were initially trying to warn me saying, "there is no way you can renew your passport faster than yourself, even the government website says so." That is true, but what Global Passport Express offers is going to one of those cities for you, securing an appointment with the passport agency, and, if needed, will even fill out your passport application and take your photo in office (at no extra cost). I brought in my expired passport on a Monday, and the very next Monday—5 business days later—I received my renewed passport. This is an excellent, professional, and very helpful service if you're someone who needs a passport fast.
