Love this place. Nikki did my Japanese Hair Straightening and she did a great job! She took the time to do it well. She didn’t rush and was very friendly. The price is reasonable as well. The store is so convenient. All the stylists were nice. I will refer this place to my friends and family.

I received a hair cut on Wednesday from Tammy. I waited a few days to write this review because I wanted to give the haircut a chance. I asked for a 90s style haircut with long layers and face framing pieces. I have extremely thick hair and Tammy decided it needed to be thinned out, well she thinned it out SO MUCH that I have hardly any hair left. It’s extremely scraggly looking and the layers make no sense at all. I literally cried in my car once I left the salon. I’m extremely upset and angry at the experience I had at this salon. I will NEVER go back here or recommend anyone. I only went because they have such great reviews, but now I know why. As I was in the chair, Tammy asked for me to give her a google review and I felt pressured to give them a good review as I felt like I was being watched. I never said I wanted my hair thinned out like this. I specifically told her I was growing my hair out so I don’t understand why she felt the need to completely chop off all of my hair. I added what my hair looked like before she started cutting, I was sitting in her chair. Then I attached the inspiration photo and the after. My hair is SO THIN and uneven. I inserted a photo with all of my hair to the front of my face and it’s literally just one long very thin layer and the rest are extremely short choppy layers. There is nothing they can even do the fix it because it’s completely chopped. My only option is to cut it short. I am completely devastated. Let me repeat: I DID NOT ASK FOR LENGTH TO BE TAKEN AWAY OR FOR IT TO BE THINNED. EDIT: I don’t know what you could possibly offer me to fix this damage. The only acceptable answer is a full refund. My hair is beyond repair at this point.(unless I chop it all off, which AGAIN, I was growing my hair out) I also want to add that I came here with my grandma and my cousin and we all received really bad haircuts. We practically have mullets. This is UNACCEPTABLE and should never happen to someone paying good money to get a hair cut. I was excited for this, it was supposed to make me feel good about myself and now I’m left feeling defeated and ugly. I’d like to clarify my experience, as there are several inaccuracies in your response. At no point during my appointment did Tammy recommend an alternative to the inspiration photos I showed. She also did not ask for my consent before thinning my hair, which is a significant decision especially given that my hair is naturally thick and curly. I was facing away from the mirror for most of the appointment, so I wasn’t aware of what was being done in real time. Regarding the review, I initially left a 5-star rating because I felt uncomfortable being asked to do so while still in the chair, before my hair was even finished. After seeing the final result and having time to assess it myself, I removed that review to reflect my honest experience. I also reached out to discuss this further and was told the owner was unaware of the situation, which is confusing given that the response is labeled as coming from the owner. My concern is not just about what I requested, but how the service was carried out and the final result. I’m disappointed that, instead of taking accountability or offering a meaningful resolution, the response placed the responsibility entirely on me. A hair treatment was offered, but that does not address the outcome of the haircut itself. This review reflects my genuine experience after living with the results. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future clients can have a better experience. Given the outcome, I believe a refund would have been the only reasonable resolution.

I was really looking forward to this haircut because a friend had a great experience here and highly recommended the salon. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, my stylist was about 20 minutes late. Another employee washed my hair, and she began blow-drying it because they wanted to style it before the haircut. It wasn’t even the stylist I had booked my appointment with. Once my stylist arrived, she cut my hair, but I noticed the layers were uneven and had to ask for them to be corrected. After the haircut, someone else blow-dried my hair, and then another employee curled it. Throughout the appointment, I felt like I was being passed from person to person rather than receiving the personalized service I expected. I left the salon unhappy with both my haircut and the overall experience. I had high expectations based on the recommendation I received, but unfortunately, the service and final result did not meet them.

I’ve been going to Jenny for a while now, and she never fails to deliver. My latest color is gorgeous! The salon has such a modern, chic vibe that makes the whole experience even better. Five stars for both the service and the beautiful space.
