Gold Bean Cafe

I love trying new coffee spots, so I decided to check out Gold Bean Coffee this past Sunday. Unfortunately, my experience was really disappointing. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel and a cookie butter latte—both felt overpriced for what I received. The bigger issue was the latte: it tasted like a Biscoff-flavored almond milk drink with zero coffee in it, which is not what I paid for. I tried multiple times to resolve this directly—I called, sent a text, and even responded through the text receipt when prompted for feedback—but got no response at all. That lack of communication is frustrating, especially when I was simply asking for a refund for the drink (not even the food). I understand they were busy, but there was also no acknowledgment of customers waiting, and the overall service felt disorganized. At the end of the day, I just wanted a simple resolution, but being ignored left a bad impression.

I was so excited to come here when it opened. We ordered for pick up on Saturday morning. I got the banana latte my partner got the cinnamon toast…. The coffee genuinely tasted like watered down hot chocolate. Everyone is different maybe ppl prefer their coffee a lot sweeter but I tasted 0 caffeine. I attempted to finish it because it was expensive , but I was so unsatisfied every time I took a sip, I just tossed it. Then I ordered two paninis , it’s $16 each. I took a bite and no it’s not bad …. HOWEVER if yall goin charge $16 almost $17 for a Panini can the Sandwich at least be cut properly? It was cut at the top and I had to rip the bottom apart because it wasn’t sliced properly. Anyway definitely try it yourself , everybody opinions vary and your experience may be different. Hi, This is Kelly/Abe again. To clarify this is my third time trying this place since I wanted to give it another try. I could not reply to the one you guys replied back to. I decided to get matcha this time since the previous times I got coffee. All 3 times, matcha and coffee was a huge disappointment!! The matcha may not look grainy on picture as you may say but it definitely tasted grainy. The color DID NOT LOOK AMAZING. It looked watery!!! I will attach an image from a visit back in February of 2026 to show I have gotten coffee from your store before. I do not take my reviews lightly! Have a wonderful day yall!!

i ordered the strawberry matcha and it looked really pretty. it had a pink strawberry foam with dried strawberries on top and a green matcha base. unfortunately the taste didn’t match. the strawberry foam tasted artificial, which i thought was a bit strange since i’ve been to a good amount of cafes and they usually make strawberry matcha with something like strawberry jam. the matcha also tasted watered down, even though the ice hadn’t melted yet. it was also pretty expensive, around $9. overall it looks really nice, but the flavor was a bit disappointing, but maybe it’s just my personal taste. i really wanted to like it thoo :(

This will be my favorite place on earth. Perfect balance of strong and creamy coffee. I tried the Vietnamese-Style Iced Coffee!!
