I am extremely picky when it comes to getting my haircut. And I have to say not once have I been upset or had a complaint to make about the Great Clips at great Southwest Parkway in Grand Prairie, Texas. All of the hairdressers there are wonderful, courteous, friendly, and extremely kind. But most of all they listen to what you want and give you their best. Had to give a special thank you to Mrs Tho for always making me look sharp.
I have used this location for over a year and it was always 5 stars until they wouldn't let me get my hair cut by the lady who always cuts it. I had to use a man who destroyed my hair. I literally had to go get it fixed by an actual professional. My lady didn't even have someone in her chair so I'm not sure why I had to use this butcher next to her. He was very rude and insisted that I not hold my phone on my lap then he picked up a comb and TESTED it on his hair!!! Then proceeded to comb my hair with it! He used the clippers for 99% of my hair when I said sides only and then he made 1... 1 snip with the scissors on the front of my hair and made it completely crooked. My hair wouldn't comb down in several places at all and stood strait up. If I have to use him then I'm not going back.
Nicki and Pham been cutting my hair for twenty years and I am always pleased with the results. Plus, they are very nice and very professional.
Terrible experience with Mr.Vu today. I asked for a 1” trim with absolutely no layers. He cut off 3 inches unevenly, proudly said he’d given me layers, and told me I was done. He wouldn’t fix it until I said “Uncle, both sides aren’t even the same length.” Also he trimmed my mom’s hair right before. He completely ignored her requests and gave her a super short pixie cut that looks like a man’s haircut! My mom is disabled, elderly, and in a wheelchair. I share that to say she never gets out and looks forward to when I take her for trims. She cried in the car, which is INCREDIBLY upsetting to me. I’ve gone to Great Clips for decades and usually tip highly, but never again after our experience with Mr.Vu.
The lovely lady who worked on my haircut was awesome. When she washed my hair, she gave me a nice head massage and thoroughly worked through my hair to remove all the loose strands. By the time the wash, cut, and blow dry was complete, my head felt five pounds lighter. I'm definitely coming here again in the future.
