I have brought my car in here multiple times to be serviced and also recently to do an engine swap. Really nice people who are informative and helpful. Fair prices and good work. They also went the extra mile for me recently when I called to ask about how my car might do with towing a trailer. Gave me lots of information and were honest with me. Offered to help me find other solutions. Would recommend!!

I have been going to Gwin for oils change for years. On Friday March 6th, my van’s battery started to show a warning sign around 10am. At 4:30pm, the engine could not start anymore with many warning signs illuminated, but power was still on because I could still charge my cell phone. I called AAA to tow my van to Gwin body shop. The next morning (Saturday, March 7th), Austin and his team diagnosed the issue with my van quickly: vvt solenoid leaked oil and that destroyed the alternator. They gave a quote over the phone which is within the ballpark of what ChatGPT suggests. I approved the quote immediately. Austin and his team members managed to fix it in 5 hours. I am super grateful as I am the only parent in town with 2 kids. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate for their help and would definitely recommend Austin and his team member because they truly care about their customers~

Austin was so helpful from the moment I came in with my tow truck to the moment I walked out the door. I had an unfortunate blown hose and my Jeep was overheating. They took me in immediately and worked with my tight timeline! After going to one shop before that quoted me an INSANE price of $1028, I came in to this place almost defeated with the idea of having to put another $1k into my car. Austin looked into the pieces I needed and found my solution quickly. I was also paying almost half of what the first shop estimated, so I was extremely happy with this service and experience. Thank you again so much for helping me in such a quick turnaround. I live in Oceanside, but will go out of the way for this shop! 5 star service!

I consistently get good auto repair work done here for very reasonable prices. I have been coming here for about 10 years and they don’t try to sell questionable repairs and I almost always approve any work they recommend. When they don’t believe they can do a job they tell you they are not the right shop for the work. Oil changes, tune ups, and smog checks are really inexpensive here.

Honest and economic auto repair shop. Oil change for $13 - no-coupon-needed is a deadly deal; I feel they keep this low for oil change, just to attract customers and do more servicing for a car. They may not speak friendly to customers, as they are super busy, but they will be truthful about their work and warranty. Getting a quick appointment is the only issue I have. Getting appointments on weekends is so difficult.
