Sign in to reviewThis review is a long time coming as Hai Tech Collision has been my go-to resource for several insurance related repairs for both my 2017 Subaru Forester as well as my 2004 Camry, which I thought would have been totalled, over the last several years. Each time I received excellent service and advice, and because they have actually advised me against potential "up-sells" that could have made them more money, I have come to trust them, which is an increasingly difficult business ethic to find out there these days. My calls were always answered or returned promptly and the owner is always close at hand to ensure service quality. Repairs have always been completed on time and with beautiful results. They have even taken the time and initiative to bring my attention to, and even repair, little things without charge.
Writing this review after a very terrible experience with the owner of this place. I brought my car in three months ago for a bumper change due to a car accident and for an oil change. For your information, this should not take THREE months. Anyways, we set a price for what it would cost and agreed on it. I called on occasion spanning those three months to check in with my car and receive updates. Not only did they never answer but I never got calls back. A little bit of background information. I came in with my mom who is full Vietnamese just so she could drive me back since I wouldn’t have my car with me. Whenever I heard updates about my car it was from her and not from them which says a lot about the kind of people you’re trusting your vehicle to. Why would you not contact me directly and go to her instead? I gave you my email and phone number and I am the one paying you for the workmanship. It is also MY vehicle. When he did leave a voicemail he accused me of calling after hours which I only did one day but never again because I realized their hours. Every other time I called, it was on days they were open. Not a single call back. Another thing. The owner is a joke. He is inconsistent and inconsiderate towards the customer. Worst customer service in my life. He lied on multiple occasions about when my car would be ready. Just so you know just because I’m young doesn’t mean you get to disrespect my time and my money. I made time on those days to be free so that I could go pick up my car, I work two jobs full time as well as attend college. If you’re going to delay when I get my car at least let me know days before instead of cancelling last minute or not letting me know. I have to find everything out from my mom, because apparently you only contact her even though I’m the customer. On that same topic, if she tells you to do something its not a sign to just go and do it. As a business owner you contact the vehicle owner and confirm any changes or work. I came in for a bumper change and oil change, that is it. Instead I got additional charges for things I did not ask for and was not aware about and still have to pay for. Also he never really gave me a set price until I got my car. You can tell why it was extremely upsetting for me. Also they made snarky remarks about the stickers on my car. unprofessional on behalf of the owner, this place is a joke.
This is one of the great Automotive shop know in OC. The place is just like any other shop but the tech there is very friendly and seems to like what they are doing. The owner is one of the most helpful and patient automotive shop owner I ever met. He will make sure to quote you fairly, as well as educates you on why it cost a certain amount of money to fix the damage. I always recommend this shop to everyone who asked me for a good auto shop in town.
This is the best repair shop I have ever been to. Vince and his crew are amazing. Customer service, body work and paint were impeccable. Communication was great and repairs were quick. Vince is incredibly kind as well. I highly recommend Hai Tech and will recommend this business to all of my friends! Thank you Vince & team, y’all are the best!
