Misleading service – promised permanent straightening, refused refund I had a very disappointing experience here. I clearly asked for permanent hair straightening and was told it would be permanent. I paid $120 in cash based on that promise. The stylist applied only one chemical for about 15 minutes, washed my hair, and said my hair was now permanently straight. However, within 10 minutes, my hair completely returned to its original texture, exactly the same as before. This was not permanent straightening in any way. Real permanent straightening takes hours, multiple steps, and a neutralizer. What I received was at best a temporary smoothing, not what was promised. When I went back and explained that the service did not work at all, I asked for a refund. The stylist refused to refund my money and kept insisting on doing another treatment instead. I clearly said I do not want any correction, only a refund, because I no longer trust the service. Refusing a refund after misrepresenting a service is not acceptable. Cash payment does not mean customers lose their rights. I paid for a permanent service and did not receive it. I am writing this review to warn others: Do not trust verbal promises of “permanent straightening” here. Make sure everything is written clearly before paying, especially if paying cash. This experience caused me stress, wasted my time and money, and showed a lack of professionalism and honesty.
Louis is THE best!! He is a master with the scissors, and the only one I trust with color. I love his work so much that I refer all my friends and family. I even have my 5 year old son going to him and his haircut is amazing too. Louis’ energy and personality is the cherry on top of his amazing skills. Thank you so much❤️
I’ve been referred to Louis by my roommate whose hair always looks amazing. I wanted to get my long hair cut very short. Louis did such an amazing job, he put so much efforts into it to make sure it will still look feminine on me. I couldn’t ask for anyone better than him, truly a master. So thankful!
Louis is an amazing hair stylist. He has done everything for me from a trim to a Brazilian blowout to an ombré and I am impressed every. single. time. He takes his clients wishes and creates art. He is patient and thorough and precise with all of his methods. When I am in his chair, I know I will walk away happy. My family now also uses Louis’s services-well worth the drive for the experience with him!
