Loved my 1st time experience at Hair in Peace! Destiny did an amazing job on my two strand twist and everyone was friendly. Its a super cute and clean shop and love the personal touches!

My girl Donnie is an amazing loctician! She started my locs in August and has been doing my retwist ever since. She’s professional, detail-oriented, and truly cares about the health of your hair. My retwist is always clean, neat, and lasts without feeling too tight. The experience is always relaxing and top-tier. I leave every time feeling confident and loving my locs. The shop is soooo cute and always a good vibe. Highly recommended!!!

I had mixed feelings about the salon due to the rude receptionist who is no longer there so I decided to stay because I love how Jenai does my hair. Recently, I tried to book an appointment for color and retwist. I booked with sierra because shes the only one that does color. The staff called me and mentioned that I book the wrong service and told me they would try to see if they can get me in at 10am because the service takes 6 hours. They confirmed they were able to accommodate my appointment. I was so grateful and paid the $40 deposit immediately. I received confirmation text and email. I had extensions in my hair so after getting the approval, I spent 7 hours taking my hair style down in anticipation for my appointment two days later. The very next day, I received an email and text with an appointment change to 1pm. No one asked me, they just changed it. I contacted the staff and let them know that I’m unable to make that appointment time due to needing to pick my son up from day care by 6pm. I tried to see if I can get the appointment back and even tried to ask if I can just get color without a style because I really needed my hair colored more than styled. I was willing to book a service another day for the style if needed. They told me that they went above and beyond to accommodate me in the first place and I should understand that things happen, Friday’s are busy and they can’t accommodate me due to a conflict and you cannot book a color service without a style. They basically gave my appointment away to somebody else, moved it without asking me, and did not accommodate me due to a sudden conflict. This was so disappointing and stressful. If a client pays a deposit, the salon should not move any appointment without consent or talking directly with the client first. This was very unprofessional and uncomfortable for me. Thankfully I was able to find a last minute appointment elsewhere to get my hair done. Clients should have safety and feel secure when appointments are booked and deposits are paid. I won’t be returning

I can't believe I let this review slip for so long! I started my loc journey back in August 2025, and honestly, it was the best hair decision I've ever made! Destiny (I hope I'm spelling her name right!) was the one who started my locs, and she did such an amazing job! She really took the time to listen to what mattered most to me and delivered exactly what I was looking for. My parts are clean, and the size of the locs is just perfect! The shop itself is super clean, and all the ladies there are incredibly friendly. I loved that when I arrived, Destiny started on my hair right away and finished right on schedule. I noticed that each stylist focuses on one client at a time, which really means a lot to me. I can genuinely say I love this shop! Even though I live all the way in Villa Ricca, I make the drive out there because the positive environment and quality service are totally worth it. I truly enjoy every visit, and I can't recommend this place enough!
