Haircut is a neighborhood beauty salon at 300 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104, serving people looking for a straightforward, convenient place to get their hair done. The shop is near the Sahara, and one customer found it within walking distance while visiting Las Vegas. That kind of location can be useful when you are staying nearby and need a haircut without making a long trip across town. Reviews describe a practical, personal experience rather than a formal, high-end salon visit, with customers valuing the quality of the work and the affordable cost.
Haircuts are the service customers mention most. Reviewers describe visits for both men’s and women’s haircuts, including one customer who brought in a photo and appreciated that the stylist worked gradually, checking in along the way to make sure the result matched what they wanted. Another reviewer says they have returned for years, while a parent reports that the stylist did a fantastic job cutting their son’s hair during a Las Vegas visit. These accounts suggest Haircut may suit people who like to communicate their preferences clearly and appreciate a stylist who listens as the cut takes shape.
Customer reviews also mention hair color and perms, so Haircut may be worth considering if you are looking for those services as well as a basic trim. One review described a men’s haircut at $9, but that price comes from a customer’s account and may not reflect current pricing; contact the salon to confirm costs and service details before visiting. Reviewers frequently praise the value, and the business has a 4.7-star rating from 14 reviews. As with any salon, results and experiences can vary, so sharing a reference photo or explaining the length and style you want can help set expectations.
The atmosphere appears modest and unpretentious. One customer says the exterior initially made them hesitant, but they were pleased with the haircut; other reviews describe the owner or stylist, Winnie, as easy to talk to and accommodating. The feedback points to a personal, one-on-one feel that may work well for travelers, local residents, families, and anyone seeking an affordable haircut without extra ceremony. Haircut is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed Sunday. For a visit in Las Vegas, confirm current prices and availability directly, especially if you are booking color, a perm, or a particular style.

Do not let the appearance of this place fool you! She did a fantastic job. My son didn’t have time to get a hair cut before arriving in Las Vegas. So I looked up nearby hair places and found this place with in walking distance of the the Sahara. I was very skeptical when we came up to it. It’s very very run down. We took the risk because of the good reviews. The sweetest Asian lady was there and she did a fabulous job! My son is very picky and usually only lets me cut his hair and one other person. She did so well and only charged him $9. Of course I gave her $30. Don’t judge a book by its cover!
This place is pretty legit for $9 mens haircut. Winnie (owner/worker) speaks decent English and is easy to talk to and very accommodating. I showed her a picture of the hairstyle I wanted and she did very well. Removed hair little by little, checking-in along the way to make sure I was satisfied. I definitely recommend if you can get past the beat up sign and outdated looking interior.
I have been going there to get a haircut for years. It is owned and operated by a sweet older Asian woman that does a great job. She does men and women's hair, including color and perms at the lowest prices in Las Vegas. At the time of this review and it has been the same price for years, a men's haircut is only $9. Although I am not a woman, I have seen plenty of them in the shop and they seem to be very happy with her work. Parking is easy and accessible. This is a bare bones place. No giant flat screen TV's here. No sattlite 14 speaker stereo system. Just a few older magazines and a small clock radio for music. If you want just a decent haircut or treatment at a great price, you may want to consider this place.
The only place I will ever get a haircut.
Her haircut skill is better than I expected. And the cost is super cheap. I highly reccomend.
