Absolutely LOVED how Happy did my hair, got this for my rebrand on TikTok and YouTube!🥺💗 Took around 6-7 hours in total to get my hair bleached from dark brown to white in ONE DAY✌️😭 absolutely worth it tho service was awesome!! Not sure what the negative comments are about the bleached hair, what I will say is that YEA it did sting a TINY bit only bc I never bleached my hair before. They have definitely gotten better and do a good job with bleaching., Happy made sure my hair wasn’t breaking off since I was going pretty light. Got so many compliments on my hair :p
I got my hair bleached here today and the color turned out nice at first, but the experience after I went home was really upsetting. When I started touching my scalp, I found a bunch of hard, crusty pieces stuck all over. I went to a doctor to check, and it turned out they were LITERALLY BLEACH left on my scalp. Removing them was painful, my scalp was irritated, and some spots were actually bleeding. This was really disappointing and honestly felt unsafe and really expensive. I wish the stylist had rinsed my hair properly and checked my scalp before sending me off. I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but this was serious and caused actual injury. :/ This will be the last time I stop by
I was looking for simple side bang/layered men haircut in South Philly cause it's a struggle to find a parking in Chinatown for my usual place. I gave this place a try and Ben (iirc) did the haircut just fine. Price was reasonable at $30. Some places I tried in South Philly charge extra since my hair is kinda long for men. The shampoo lady though, first time ever I get triple wash before the cut haha. Some might say excessive, but I think it was relaxing. Overall good experience for a random walk-in. Will visit again.

PSA: You really need to schedule an appointment in advance by calling them, else you will wait quite some time. This is where the negative reviews about waiting time come from I’ve been coming here for 5+ years, and getting my haircut with happy for ~10 years, my family drives almost an hour every month to get their hair cut here! My favorite thing to do is to just ask Happy to do whatever hairstyle he thinks would look good, and it’s always been great!
