Before starting the chemical straightening process, they closely examined my hair condition, walked me through every treatment detail, and adjusted the formula to avoid frying my strands—you can instantly tell they’ve mastered this service and care about keeping hair healthy. The best part is how chill and easy it is to communicate with them, no awkward forced small talk or pushy upsells like every other salon I’ve hit before. I only rambled about the soft, natural sleek straight style I wanted and showed a couple reference photos, and they immediately got my vision. They’ve got such a trendy, sharp eye for styling! They cut soft face-framing layers that slim my face perfectly, no boring stiff outdated cuts at all. The Japanese straightening result is chef’s kiss: silky, glossy, naturally smooth, not that flat cardboard stick-straight look I hate so much. I’ve already sent all my intern friends here, and this is officially my permanent go-to salon for the whole rest of my internship in Seattle. I’ve gotten my hair cut here 3 or 4 times now four the last few years they are amazing. Very reasonable prices for getting a hair cut from a professional who has been cutting hair for 15 years. Really nice people too and did exactly what I wanted from reference photo!
