Happy Teriyaki

Ordered their $7.99 Teriyaki bowl for takeout and it was promptly served. The taste and price combo, deserves 5 stars. A perfect amount of meat and rice with some vegetables. Tasted nice and fresh with fluffy rice. I would try again in the future. Great deal in my opinion.

The orange chicken tasted bitter and the teriyaki chicken was just bland and not even grilled enough. Well worth just driving up to Lacey to order Kobo Teriyaki at this point. BOGO isn't worth it if it's this quality of food you're getting.

I was really disappointed. The chicken was incredibly dry and came with almost no sauce, so it lacked the flavor you’d expect from teriyaki. Even the fried rice was completely bland, which was surprising. Overall, the entire meal tasted underseasoned and uninspired. You’re honestly better off saving your money and making teriyaki at home.. it’ll likely have more flavor than this.

Found this place because I always saw their sign saying "Teriyaki Bowl $7.99" and figured why not, if it's bad, it will be a one time lesson. Well.... it was amazing! The chicken was bigger chunks, fresh, not to much sauce that at some places has a bitter taste. It has two scoops of rice, Cabbage with Carrots, and then bigger chunks of chicken. But here's the thing, aside from it tasting amazing, it was A LOT OF FOOD! I had enough for left overs! I am about 6' 205lbs and work out. There is enough for me to have two meals, half the first day, half a day or two later. But I love it because with trying to be in shape, I know that I'm getting a healthy meal. Why would you spend $10 for crap food at McDonald's or even KFC when this is pretty much like a home cooked meal for less? And for that reason, I have probably went here at this point over 80 times over the last year, it's basically part of my routine. The employees like Georgie already know what I want as soon as I walk in. And that's another thing. Though they get a LOT of to-go orders, don't order in advance because it's not like most places where you are gonna wait a long time. Just go there, order it and you will get your food extremely fast. They have a lot of other items to choose from but for me 90% of the time it's the same healthy meal. And personally, even though it's to-go, I tip, but still feel like a winner getting two meals for less than $5. How can you eat good food for that price even if I cook it myself. And, they do have points per order. Only negative is when I ordered through Doordash it was over $20. To me, I couldn't justify it, knowing what I typically pay. And since it's so fast I just pick it up. But to be fair, it appears to me that 60% of there orders are being picked up by delivery drivers, every time I come to the counter. It was after I tried to order through Doordash that I received this link to give a review. I should have done it a year ago. Try them!

Always excellent food and great portions. Love their honey garlic chicken and sesame chicken! Service is always friendly but I’ve never dined in, only ever ordered to go.
