Hayward Convalescent hospital

I was admitted in September of 2025 until June 1st 2026. I didn't expect to be this long and I wasn't expecting the quality of caring they do for their patients. I had incredible help from CNAs especially Asia and kin. The physical therapy crew were very good to me, the wound nurses Jennifer and Stephanie we're especially good for my wounds healing. An outstanding nurse angel took really good care of me. The janitorial staff is so clean you can eat off the floor, this is the cleanest nursing Care facility I've ever been at. And I've been to a lot especially with my mom.And the staff was impeccable and very caring during my care conferences. If you were to get sick and needed therapy or long-term I recommend sage Post acute formerly known as the Hayward convalescent hospital. If I have to come back I would love to come back.

My father was treated here, and I truly appreciate the care and support we received during a difficult time. The hospital has a spacious, clean, and calming environment, which made a big difference in his recovery. The nurses and therapists were all professional, kind, and attentive. I want to sincerely thank the two dedicated therapists, the Vietnamese nurse who showed us great kindness, the tall young man working the night shift, and the woman on the morning shift who helped with my father’s personal hygiene. Your compassion and care meant a lot to us. Thank you all for your dedication and warmth.

Negative 5 star I will give if I have a love one don’t take them there my father was there for 2 days and the food was horrible the service wasn’t worst they did not take good care of him and they did not give him the medication when I confronted them the nurse was still rude and kept saying that she had give my father the medication but my dad has very good memorie and I will be pressing charges on them for medical neglygents

I would like to leave a review to share my superb experience with Aruna the CNA assigned to me. I like so many other patients refer her as momma. She has helped me significantly with grooming, food service, clothes and more. She is beyond professional and all the excellent service I received from her was extremely fast and top notch.

I didn’t realize I wrote a good review about Hayward convalescent home, after kaiser hospital Richmond found this place for my dad, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s Dementia, I couldn’t take care of him on my own , at first I thought they were nice people and I believed they help my dad, until I witnessed an employee beat a patient, I complained and they retaliated by dumping my dad at a hospital, I found my dad a great place in Fairfield, he has since passed, but for families thinking about Hayward convalescent for your loved ones. please don’t!!!! Another patient told me that before my dad was dumped at a hospital an employee beat him and kicked him on the floor. Please don’t take your loved ones at this place!!! Our loved ones deserve better treatment!!!
