Customer feedback points to savory menu items that have earned loyal fans over the years, including teriyaki bowls and Chinese food. One reviewer said they had been visiting for years before finally trying the half-and-half teriyaki bowl, only to wish they had ordered it sooner because of its balanced flavor. Another longtime customer shared that the Chinese food had long been the highlight for them, especially when working in the area. That mix of sweet and savory gives this donut shop a broader neighborhood role, making it useful for breakfast, a snack run, or even a casual meal.

The atmosphere comes across as straightforward and welcoming rather than overly polished, which is often exactly what people want from a dependable local shop. It is well suited for early-morning customers, families picking up a mixed box, nearby employees on a break, or anyone who appreciates having donuts, drinks, and hot food in one place. Reviews also mention ice brews, adding another reason for people to stop by when they want something cold with their order. Because tastes and expectations vary, some feedback is more mixed, but the overall picture is of a busy neighborhood business that many people know well and continue to revisit.

I've had donuts here for years but never got around to the teriyaki bowls. Now I'm a little upset that I never had it after all these year. I had the half & half teriyaki bowl and it was so good. The teriyaki is not overwhelming (like most Hawaiian BBQ spots) nor was it bland (like Flame Broiler or Waba grill). This is definitely the go to spot for a quick teriyaki fix. It also came with a soda can of your choice. Donuts are your normal Cali donuts with a few gourmet donuts. I've been coming for years because of their ham & cheese croissants, especially the jalapeno ones. 🔥🔥🔥 Limited seating and there is a drive thru.

I want to start off by mentioning that I've been going to this place since before they revamped it. I have worked in the area for 2 years and have always gone to get Chinese Food there. That is to say that for me, the highlight of this place was ultimately the Chinese food so I might be a little biased. That being said, I have gone 2 times since they opened, once through the drive thru and the other in person, today actually (7/11/22). The donuts at this place are your average donuts, I want to be very honest, there is nothing that really makes them stand out from the rest. They made it look really nice, but a nice place with mediocre food will not bring in customers. They did add Mochi Donuts which were good, mushy like a Mochi, the flavors were good. The only reason that for me Mochi Donuts isn't groundbreaking is that the people purchasing donuts here are probably small businesses in the area ordering a dozen generic donuts for their employees. I wouldn't go in for Mochi Donuts. The employees also mentioned that they want to bring sandwiches into the menu which is alright but I think, if latinos want a sandwich, we'll just get a torta and there are plenty of taco trucks driving around in the area. The demographic in the area is highly Hispanic concentrated. The employees also mentioned that people are constantly coming in to ask about the Chinese food, in numbers(SAME!!). Hello Donuts has the potential to become great, if they bring back what the community really loved which was a tasty morning treat of donuts and a wonderful afternoon meal of Chinese food. The new look makes it look modern and simple but the new selection... or should I say lack there of, has really made this place one more donut shop in a sea of so many and with the creativity and unique-ness of so many of the donut shops around, what will make this place tower over the rest except for their magnificently and beautifully crafted Chinese food.

12/4/2025 = 1 Star = after more than a year I tried again, but this time I tried Donut holes, I bought 4 dozen $15 total , 1 dozen would be $3.75, and I notice that it did not fill the whole box , I might skip this store for a donut . 3/27/2024 = 2 Star = 1st time to Order a Dozen Donut charges me $18 , coz i pick and choose what i want , if you order mix charge you $16 , will not recommend this anymore. 4/27/2023 = 4 Star = We finally tried and we love their shakes , but no more Chinese food. Add 1 star coz costumer service are good . 5/31/2022 = 3 Star = it used to be Donut and Chinese Food , we really like this store before and we thought that they doing renovation but looks like it's changing name too, i give 3 star coz it's taking so long to open, once done we will try it and will see if will add or will minus the stars.

Here's an absolute treat. Fresh donuts, and a huge variety at that. 6 different Mochi donuts, yes...Mochi donuts. The strawberry is my favorite. The red velvet was good, but don't expect it to be anything like velvet cake in regards to texture. The ice brews are all amazing. They literally can your drink there on the spot. Ever see ice in a can? This is a must try. You won't be disappointed.
