I recently purchased an artwork from Heritage and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The entire process was made easy and managed with the utmost professionalism. The item description was highly accurate: no defects were hidden, and the object was exactly as described. Their customer service is top-notch: they respond incredibly fast and offer full support, truly putting the client first. A special note on shipping: the packaging was extremely careful and secure, delivery was fast, and the cost was truly honest and affordable for international transport. Just recently started using Heritage Auctions for my graded video game purchases. I purchased 10 games over the last 6 auctions and have been very pleased with the entire process. Shipping has been quick and the items are safely packaged. Highly recommended for video game purchases!
AVOID AT ALL COST - If I could give this auction house negative 10 stars, I would. After spending over $80K, my items were not shipped on time as promised. Despite repeated assurances that everything would arrive before Christmas, none of the items left the auction house. Customer service refused to take responsibility or offer any form of resolution. I sent multiple follow-up emails that went completely unanswered. After several phone calls, a representative named Marky was unwilling to accommodate me in any meaningful way. All requests to escalate the issue to senior management were ignored. In short, I strongly recommend finding a better auction house to work with. This is no Christie’s, and the poor service and lack of accountability simply are not worth the risk.
Robert Fornesi and Heritage Auctions provided me the single best customer service experience I have ever had. Once I was connected with Robert, the consignment process for my handful of worthwhile Comic Books played out quickly and efficiently. Robert explained the entire process from the beginning, and then as we moved forward he kept it simple and laid out each next step, one step at a time. The consignment process all happened just the way it’s explained on their website, with Robert making sure the process was smooth all the way through. Each checkpoint in the process was as easy or easier than the one before it. The single biggest effort I made in consigning my valuables was packaging them securely to mail them across the country.
