Choosing a flavor is part of the appeal. Reviewers describe a selection with distinctly different options, including blueberry lemon and brown sugar cinnamon. One guest praised the blueberry lemon, while another called the brown sugar cinnamon fantastic. If deciding between several choices is difficult, a reviewer notes that High Point Creamery offers an ice cream flight, making it possible to sample a few flavors in one visit. The specific selection may depend on what is available when you stop by, so the flavors mentioned here are examples from customer reviews rather than a promise of a particular menu.

The atmosphere comes across as casual and easygoing. Visitors describe the setting as relaxed, and reviews mention friendly, professional service and sweet servers. That combination can make the shop a pleasant choice for a weekend treat, a dessert stop with friends, or a low-key visit after an event. Some guests frame the experience as a fun summer outing, while others focus simply on enjoying a generous serving of ice cream. As with any food business, the experience can vary from visit to visit.

Dietary needs are worth considering before choosing a treat. One reviewer noted that the experience may not feel inclusive for people managing health-related dietary restrictions, including lupus or diabetes. The available information does not confirm which options or accommodations the shop can provide, so customers with specific needs should check directly with the business before visiting. Reviews also mention washable metal tasting spoons, with one guest reporting concerns about having enough available; this is an individual observation, not a guarantee of current service conditions.

I happened to drive past this place on my way to an event, and I decided to stop in on my way home. I won't be back though. First issue, which I saw others post about, is the lack of tasting spoons. While I appreciate being sustainable by using washable metal spoons, either there aren't enough on hand, the staff need to stay on top of washing when there's a break in customers, or the kid didn't want to go in back to get clean ones to add to his work at closing (we were there about 45 min before closing). He only had 3 tasting spoons when, so I got to try 2 flavors and my sister tried one. They should keep plastic or wooden tasting spoons as backups so customers can taste before buying. Second issue is the taste. The two I sampled were ok as flavors and the 3rd that I just went with in a shake I could barely taste in the shake, which strongly tasted like oatmilk. But the bigger taste issue is the lack of richness in the milkfat. When we're talking homemade smallbatch ice cream, I expect it to be rich in milkfat, like close to 14%. I was not picking that up with the couple of tasters and definitely not in the shake. Third issue was the extremely thin shake. I've had thicker shakes made out of softserve. I ran to the restroom while he dished it up and spun it, so I didn't see how much ice cream he put in the cup, but I had high hopes for at least an average thick shake when I saw the diameter of the straw. Sadly, the thinness was like letting a scoop of ice cream completly melt to liquid. I think he put in one scoop of ice cream with a lot of milk - and I'm not even sure that he used dairy whole milk. I got the cookies and cream thinking that was a fail-safe on flavor, since I didn't care much for the 2 that I tasted and there were no more tasting spoons to try more, but as I noted above, the extremely thin shake had a very strong oat taste and was lacking the sweetness I expected, so I think he used oatmilk. At first I thought maybe it's because of using two other cookies in addition to chocolate chip then maybe it's because they use baked cookies instead of the traditional cookie dough, but I didn't get to taste it in advance to know if the flavor came from the ice cream itself or from the liquid used to spin the shake. Due to the thinness and poor flavor profile, the shake was definitely NOT worth $9.49+tax.

Really chill vibes and sweet servers make this a great summery spot destination for fun weekend memory making. But I have to note it’s not an inclusive experience for those with dietary restrictions such as lupus or diabetes, which is a …

A truly unique ice cream experience. I came here with a few friends, and we were all taken back by how many distinctly unique ice cream flavors they had. I guess we were not the first group to have issues choosing flavors, as they offer an ice cream flight option. I’m familiar with the concept of beer or wine flights, but I’ve never been a participant in an ice cream flight. The presentation was outstanding and the flavors were amazingly complex. I’d say my favorite flavor was their cookies n’ cream which was outstanding! Next time I go back I’ll need a full order of that to myself. That being said, their earl grey tea, coconut creme brûlée, and peppermint were all incredibly delicious as well. This place knows ice cream, and if you are looking for a sweet treat then this place is a must! Keep up the great work and distinct flavors!
