Home Instead

I have been using Home Instead for two years and I have enjoyed their professionalism and customer service. Every time I had any questions or changes they have help me. My wife has a wonderful care taker, her name is Alexandra, she is the perfect help. Helpful, very caring and sweet. Alexandra is always on time and she goes the extra mile with her attitude and smile.

This company has been a genuine relief for our family. From the first call, they've been extremely responsive, reliable, professional, and easy to work with. Scheduling is never a hassle, and communication is consistent. Lisa R. has been the standout. She's the caregiver I trust most with my dad, and she consistently goes above and beyond what's asked of her. She's attentive, patient, and treats him with real dignity, not just checking boxes, but genuinely looking out for him. My dad is a very private man who wanted no one in his house. My brothers and I had to really talk him into letting someone come help, and he was sure it would be a drag having someone around all day. It took less than one day with Lisa for him to decide he wanted her there every day. That says more about her than anything else I could write. The change in him since she started has been remarkable. He used to be confused and forgetful, and now he's sharper, remembering things, and almost completely back to his old self. I truly believe Lisa is the reason. One day I walked into my dad's house and found Lisa at the top of a huge ladder, changing his smoke detectors. I almost died. My dad had told her she didn't need to be up there, that the grandkids and I could handle it, but as usual Lisa insisted. That's who she is. Even if you can't think of anything for her to do, I guarantee she'll find something you didn't know you needed. She's incredibly detailed, and I don't know how she does it, but she remembers absolutely everything. This woman is worth her weight in gold. She's made life so much easier for my dad and for the rest of the family. Knowing Lisa is with him means I can stop worrying and get on with my day, and that peace of mind is worth everything. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for care for a parent.

After being the sole caregiver for my husband for about 3 years, I decided I needed help. He survived a stroke but has limited mobility and requires a lot of help with his morning routine, exercises, and meals. I interviewed two other companies and I’m very happy I chose Home Instead. I have 4 hours of care 3 days a week and 8 hours on Wednesdays. We are now fortunate to have the assistance of Sheila R on those days. That consistency has provided me with a feeling of trust that my husband is safe and is receiving quality care. Scheduling additional days or making modifications is easy with a call to the office. There is periodic follow up by the coordinators for my feedback regarding staffing and scheduling.

Our family has been incredibly grateful for the care and compassion provided by Home Instead. My grandmother is in the late stages of dementia, and having caregivers who truly connect with her has made all the difference. Louisa and Julie are not only loving and patient, but they are also proactive in her care and consistently keep our family informed about how her day is going. They take the time to engage with her, make her feel comfortable, and treat her with dignity and respect. It is clear that both Louisa and Julie genuinely enjoy working with seniors and supporting their families through difficult seasons. Their kindness, dedication, and heartfelt approach have brought our family tremendous peace of mind. We cannot thank them enough for the exceptional care they provide and would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone seeking compassionate care for a loved one.
