We have worked with John Hama and his Home Realty team for over 20 years, buying and selling multiple homes, and going through millions of dollars worth of transactions. John is one of the rare real estate agents who is great at representing clients with both buying and selling. He is also extremely personable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable with real estate laws and pretty much anything that involves home buying and selling. We recently sold our house through him in a challenging economic environment, and sold it quickly at a price we were satisfied with. Throughout the stressful process, he answered questions, took care of any issues that arose, and kept us informed. I highly recommend John for anyone looking for an honest and thoughtful RE agent!

One of their realtors, Rexana Scrimager, outright lies on listings about the state and features of homes. I still ended up buying the home anyways due to it appraising very well, but it was pretty shocking to go through with the inspector and find out that things listed were just blatantly false (I.e. saying “All toilets replaced” when two are decades old, “new outlets” when half of them are wired wrong, “new lighting” when most fixtures in the house are original with incandescent bulbs in them, “new kitchen cabinets” meaning they were repainted. She clearly advised the homeowners not to get a pre inspection, something that’s standard nowadays. As far as interacting with the seller side, To be honest I felt bad for the seller knowing they had this realtor working for them. Had the listing been honest, the house probably would’ve shown better to prospective buyers.

Buying your 1st home should be a very exciting time, however buying my 1st home in the middle of 2020 COVID was the craziest experience I've ever had! BUT because of the expert market knowledge from both John and Sarah my family ended up finding a diamond in the ruff. Not only did they dedicate a ton of time in finding a great home during the craziest housing market, they set me up for financial success locking me in at an unheard of rate for my home loan. We are forever grateful for their time, dedication and above all care for getting my family a truly wonderful home.

I’ve never been as pleased with an agent as I am with John Hama. He was easy to work with and has loads of experience and contacts (example: he called colleagues to check on developers who bid high on our house, and learned that they have a reputation for jerking sellers around, so we didn’t go with them). John was a wonderful communicator and everything he said he would do, he did. In the end he got us much more for the property than we’d expected. Highly recommended!
