Honest-1 Auto Care

My 2015 GMC Yukon wasn't blowing cold air, and Google led me to Honest-1 Auto Care. I was really impressed with their service. They explained the possible causes, gave me a ballpark estimate upfront, and kept me informed throughout the repair process. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, approachable, and easy to work with. They fixed my A/C at a very reasonable price, and I'm extremely happy with the overall experience. I highly recommend Honest-1 Auto Care for their honesty, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Honest-1 Auto Care. I initially scheduled an appointment on a Friday for brake replacement. After waiting about 3 hours and paying a $150 inspection fee, I was told that I needed new brakes and that one of my tires was out of balance. I was then advised to schedule a separate appointment for the brake installation. I booked that follow up appointment online and dropped my vehicle off at the scheduled time. 4 hours later, I called to check on the status of my car and was told that no work had even been started. I was also informed that they might not be able to complete the job that day, despite my having a scheduled appointment. At that point, I picked up my vehicle and took it to another shop, where I had the brakes replaced the same day at a more competitive price. Based on the many positive reviews, I expected a much different experience. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect the level of service I was expecting.

I brought my Lincoln Town car in for repair on the wipers that were not functioning and for ABS, BRAKE lights being on along with the speedometer not working. I told them I believed it was the ABS module per my research on the internet. I was told that the cost to diagnose the problems were $175 each. What I was NOT told is they do not credit the price of the diagnosis if you have the repair done there as most other shops do. The wipers were repaired by replacing the wiper motor, and I was told they were not able to find the ABS module so that repair was not completed. I was able to easily find the module from several sources online. The cost to repair the wipers was just under $500. By the time they added the two diagnosis cost, I was over $900. Eventhough the module involved no diagnosis at all. I would not go back here with my two other vehicles that need repair. It's not about, "not being the cheapest shop in town" as I was told by them, but about being fair to your customers to gain them for life. I feel even your name is dishonest!

I was facing a huge problem with oil consumption with my 2017 Kia Rio and Martin and his the team at Leo’s completely turned it around.
