Carla and Honey Crumb are amazing. We first met during my wedding season 2024, and she designed the most beautiful wedding cake and sugar animals and flowers. We kept the flowers and sugar animals preserved and I see them everyday in their beautiful glass house. We had our florist create a beautiful wreath for the cake and it was gorgeous to have displayed during sunset at the Edgewater. I have also gotten a Halloween cake, birthday cake, and anniversary cake and they’re all lovely. The flavors are unique and rich without being too sweet. My husband loves the ferrero crunch, but other notable ones are anything with strawberry, carrot cake, and chocolate. There are also plenty of options for gluten free and vegan, so that you or your loved ones can enjoy it. Very professional communication and instructions. I’m happily waiting for my anniversary to roll around so that I can have more cake. :) Whenever the next big life event happens, I know exactly where to come to get a beautiful, bespoke cake.

Carla did my wedding cake back in 2022, I was so happy with it! Some of my favorite photos are from our cake cutting. The cake was literally perfect even in July after a 1.5hr drive. So much respect to them for knowing the limits of their cakes to be able to deliver the highest quality on a wedding day. The cake tasting boxes were amazing, my husband (then fiancé) and I were able to make a date out of going to pick it up. So grateful for that option because I would’ve never been able to decide on a flavor, it was worth the $20. Highly recommend!!

Working with Carla at Honey Crumb was a breeze from start to finish. She created a gorgeous 3-tier vintage frill cake for our wedding that became a total centerpiece of the evening. What’s even more impressive is that the entire cake was vegan, yet the flavor was anything but standard (try the Seattle Fog!!!). Carla creates thoughtful, unique flavor combinations that prove wedding cake doesn’t have to be boring. Beyond the talent, she is a total professional: communication was prompt, the tasting was easy to coordinate, and she even went above and beyond by letting us borrow a beautiful cake stand. We cannot recommend Carla enough. We worked with her for our wedding during the Covid pandemic, and she showed incredible flexibility and care every step of the way. When our wedding was postponed, she graciously shifted our deposit to a custom tasting and even overnight shipped samples to us in California when travel was restricted. Every flavor was unique, rich, and thoughtfully crafted. We ultimately chose the apricot amaretto, which perfectly captured the taste of summer with its light, sweet, citrusy profile. When restrictions lifted, Carla seamlessly helped us adjust to a smaller wedding and guided us through a design that beautifully complemented our overall vision. The cake itself was stunning, and her attention to detail, handling, and craftsmanship truly set her apart. She is an artist who brings cakes to life. My only regret is not trusting her advice about using real florals. As someone in the horticulture industry, I insisted, and unfortunately, the florist’s work did not match the level of care Carla put into the cake. Even so, her talent still shined through. Following her work now, it is clear she consistently creates romantic, breathtaking pieces, especially her fondant lace designs.
