Flew in from NYC just for this and it was 100% worth it! Lucy gave me a rainbow Mohawk, she painted the sides and everything, and the color is insane. Been going to her since 2014 and she never misses. If you want color that actually turns heads, this is your girl!

I was hesitant to leave this review because I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I booked appointments for both myself and my daughter after Alex had a cancellation. When I first reached out, she mentioned that she doesn’t normally cut children’s hair, but after asking how old my daughter was, she agreed to see us. She initially quoted me $80 for my daughter’s haircut over text. After the haircut was finished, she charged me $60 instead, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the appointment itself was disappointing. Before cutting my daughter’s hair, she didn’t ask what I wanted changed or cleaned up from her existing haircut. She also didn’t wash or wet her hair before cutting it, and there was no styling afterward. During my own haircut, I specifically asked for bangs that would cover my eyebrows. Instead, they were cut well above my eyebrows, which was not what I requested. The biggest disappointment, however, was what happened afterward. The day after our appointment, I texted asking if she could correct my daughter’s haircut. When I didn’t receive a response, I followed up again on Wednesday. Both messages were ignored, and it’s now been over a week without any reply. I understand that not every haircut turns out exactly as expected. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication and customer service. Even if a correction wasn’t possible, a simple response would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left completely ignored. I appreciate that she fit us into her schedule on short notice and adjusted the price for my daughter’s haircut. However, based on my overall experience, I can’t recommend her due to the lack of communication and follow-through after the appointment.

Angeleaque did my Celtic Viking braids amazingly! She was so kind and informative about care and maintenance of my braids, being this was my first time braid experience. I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone who asks! Thank you again, Angeleaque!
