Had a great experience with the team at Houston Methodist Primary Care in Cypress. From the moment I arrived, the nursing staff was attentive, professional, and made sure I was comfortable and prepared before the doctor came in. The doctor took the time to listen to my concerns, answered my questions, and made me feel heard throughout the visit. I truly appreciate the care, professionalism, and support from the entire team. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for quality primary care.

This is my husband's primary care doctor and he is the best we have ever had or seen. He is always prepared for my husband's visits having reviewed his chart from the past 3 months and any tests, etc. He is available through MyChart anytime and responds immediately.

My Dr's appt was excellent and I love my primary Dr. However today I also had bloodwork done and the person taking my blood was not gentle in her tone or trying to reassure me because I told her I had small veins. I didn't feel comfortable at all. It was a bad experience and I won't be doing lab work there again. Then my son had to use the restroom and have a bowel movement. When he came out he told me he had diarrhea and had to throw away his underwear and some got on his pants. A office staff wanted to talk to me. She said "let me show you what your son did". "He smeared poop all on the walls in the bathroom". I explained to her that he had diarrhea and he did not do it on purpose and that he has autism and he doesn't do that at home or any public restroom ever. She was very accusatory and acted like it was criminal. She showed me the bathroom and it wasn't all over the walls. Yes it was two bowel movement stains on the wall and a small amount of bowel movement on the floor. She said that they have no one to clean the restroom and that she will have to do it and it's not fair to her. I asked her if she wanted me to clean the bathroom and she said no. She then began to talk to me as if I were a child to tell me what I need to do if he has to use the restroom again in that office. My son explained to me that he was tired of wiping and he didn't realize their was poop on the wall. He started crying and thought they were going to call the police on him and he is scared to ever go back with me to the drs. The staff member didn't handle it professionally.

From the beginning my experience was very good. Nice environment, helpful employees and Dr. Catague was thorough with asking me questions and discussing the issue I was having. He changed my medication and I’m so much better.

The doctors and nurses at Houston Methodist have always provided me with excellent care. Sometimes but not often when scheduling appointments with office staff or asking a question they can make you feel like you’re bothering them .
