A long-standing name in Cantonese dessert, this shop specializes in familiar comforts like mango sago and durian pancake. We ordered both, and service was swift and efficient. The durian pancake was a classic rendition—thin, supple skin encasing a generous filling that delivered the fruit’s rich, unmistakable aroma. The mango and coconut sago, on the other hand, was less successful. The flavors were bright enough, but the sago pearls hadn’t fully thawed, leaving an icy edge that distracted from the creamy sweetness. Even so, the shop retains its quiet appeal: a reliable stop for a quick fix of nostalgia and sweetness, if not perfection.

A bit on the costly side but it is good. 22yrs ago I had better mango desserts in Taipei but I guess it is all depends on the seasonal mango availability. The mango flavor is mild (varietal makes a difference and currently it is ataulfo), very smooth ice, nice chewy glutinous rice balls and ice cream to top. Good quality 👌, service is good too.

Short handed and slow every weekend. Waited at least 30 min before my goods were ordered and I received my drink and dessert. Excellent product marred by cost cutting mentality instead of hiring one more body. The cashier is doing double duty managing orders and manning the cash registerr.

If you LOVE LOVE LOVE mangoes, then you must try this dessert restaurant. Only SoCal location. I believe one of four in California/ America. They're located inside a nice plaza with plenty of free self parking. The restaurant is clean with near decoration. I love the white birds on the ceiling. When you enter, there's a large menu over the cashier. There's also some fake model dessert case on the left side displaying some of their popular products. It gives you an idea of what it like like before buying. I got the pamelo and mango with sago. Everything is made to order. Therefore it takes a few minutes to prepare fresh. It was so yummy and refreshing. Doesn't feel sinful since it actually has real fruit lol I enjoyed every bite! Yum yum The prices are ok. Portions are just right. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and inviting. Will be returning 100%

Hands down, this is the best mango dessert in town! The presentation is absolutely beautiful every detail is thoughtfully done and the taste is even more impressive. It’s perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, allowing the rich, fresh mango flavor to truly shine through in every sip. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to the store manager YUNA she is truly a hidden gem! She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive to me and my family, making us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. Hui Lau Shan is lucky to have her she’s a true asset to the team. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
