My name is Olivia . I had such an amazing experience getting my hair colored with Princess . She was amazing . Great conversation & very knowledgeable . She just gets it ! From start to finish, everything felt so professional and comfortable. She really took her time to understand exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life even better than I imagined. My color came out so vibrant, healthy, and perfectly blended. I’ve gotten so many compliments already! I have darker hair and wanted to transition to blonde . It took a few sessions which she explained to me in our consult . & in just 3 sessions she got me exactly where I needed to be . When I left I asked her to send me some photos and she air dropped them right to me . Thanks Queen ! Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing. I will definitely be back . Also Ruby is the freaking cutest dog ever and Hush is super cute and very chill atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back in a few months !

I’ve been following Ainslee for a while now and have a great experience everytime! She’s extremely personable and skilled at what she does! I feel so comfortable every time I get serviced by her. She really takes the time to get to know you, your hair history, and exactly what you’re looking for. She’s also so great at recommending products and hair care tips - the davines and oribe products at the salon have really made a noticeable difference to my hair! She also just so happens to be the queen of layering and blowouts. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!! <3

I recently had a horrible experience at hush salon after years of going there. I went in to get my hair done, some highlights I wanted my hair lightened for summer and ended up with atrocious hair. For context I have long dark thick hair no previous color or box dye and the hair stylist princess said she could not lighten it at all. She ended up completely botching my hair. I have gotten highlights before years ago and never had issues getting it lightened but I trusted her and hope that it would come out nice even if it wasn’t lightened like I requested. My hair was done in less than 2 hours which for hair of my thickness and length was already a red flag, no foils and was half assed and lazy. From the pictures below the color she added looked extremely grown out started below my ears, copper toned and not blended at all just chopped blocks of color mixed in with my dark hair. I left extremely unhappy because I got my hair done for an upcoming important trip and event. I ended up calling hush salon asking to speak with a manager/owner and I was not able to talk to anyone to express my concerns instead I was booked for a redo. The next day I got an extremely unpleasant call from the hairstylist princess who did my hair originally and to keep this brief it was extremely uncomfortable and rude. I was talked down to, made feel stupid and wrong about my feelings and talked to like I was a child. I respectfully told princess I did not appreciate how she was talking to me and she still talked down to me. I did not appreciate this phone call and this is exactly why I wanted to speak to a manager in the first place. She automatically said she would refund me without even asking if she could fix it or offering any resolution. Princess then blocked me on social me after the phone call. She is extremely petty and unprofessional. I have been loyal to this salon for many years and I am extremely disappointed in how I was spoken to and treated granted I have been going there for a long time and have even referred my friends to princess as customers. I will absolutely not be back and if you have long dark Latina hair this salon will not be able to accommodate you. I ended up having to get my hair done somewhere else and they were shocked at the color and choppy cut of my hair. Long story short, very unprofessional and disappointing.

I moved to Philly from NYC and used to go back just to get my hair cut. I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and honestly, I’ll never look back. Everyone here is talented, welcoming, and has great energy — even the hair washes are next-level. Adam gives flawless blowouts, and Carlos is the absolute best. He totally gets my curly, frizzy hair and somehow makes it look effortless every time. The Cezanne keratin treatment has been a complete game changer — no harsh chemicals or smell, and it keeps my hair smooth for months. And of course, hanging with Ruby (the cutest shop dog ever) makes every trip. Hush is easily one of the best salons I’ve been to — in Philly or NYC.
