I was looking for a place that cut Asian style hair and I was intrigued by the reviews. It’s best to reserve a time or it’s a long wait for walk-in so call ahead. Place was nice, clean and with the Vegas summer the temperature inside was great. I showed the stylist what I wanted and with a few minutes. I was done and very happy. I took a few pictures and my wife loved it. Her and my son were flying in a few days. My son asked me to take him to this place and get his haircut. He’s very picky on how his hair is cut so I did. After about 30 minutes, he was very satisfied. He know claims he will come down to Vegas just to get a hair cut here at Huy Salon. We love the place. Thanks again!

Huy did a great job with my haircut. He was super friendly and I enjoyed my experience. We did a brief consultation and cut my hair the way I liked. He was very detailed and didn’t rush the haircut which made me felt taken care of. It was my first time here and I will be recommending anyone to come visit the salon. The salon was clean and felt inviting.

Redoing this review based off my 2nd time coming here. Really upsetting & disappointing bc the 1st time I came here, Huy did a great job blending in my horrible botched layers that were so choppy & short 7mos ago. I came back a 2nd time asking for a balayage & a trim. Asked if he can do the balayage, but he got defensive & turned off for even asking on his “ability” to do so, trying to explain to me is his 30yrs of experience not good enough. I don’t think that was very professional of him. For the trim, I was expecting barely any inches off, but he managed to cut the side of my layers back down to my jaw, putting me back to square one on trying to growing my hair out…& it’s completely unsymmetrical to my left v right side of my hair Should I have asked him to not touch my layers? Yes. I’ll take responsibility on that part, but after questioning him, & him getting defensive, I relied on his “experience” to trim my hair & common sense to not touch my layers as I basically told him in the very beginning “I loved the way my hair looks with the layers all grown out now.” I honestly feel like if someone wanted a trim they should ask how much I want off & asking what I AM COMFORTABLE WITH- not go off your ego & rely on your experience bc it’s the CLIENT’S HAIR. At this 2nd appointment he barely took the time to listen to me & ask me what I wanted. Just really disappointing bc I feel like time has been robbed from me now. & I truly understand mistakes, but I think with someone who boasts about 30yrs of experience would know how to ask what their client is comfortable with & not guilt shame them questioning their ability to do hair🙂 I don’t love the results bc this balayage is not even a balayage, it’s obvious highlights with choppy, short layers I didn’t want & the colors are unevenly distribution on my head, so yeah I don’t think this guy has 30yrs of experience. But most importantly, overall devastated that I have to wait another 6+ months to grow this hair back down to my shoulders, bc men can wait few months for a bad haircut, women have to wait MONTHS to grow their hair long🙂 To top it off I asked for $150 back at least bc I’m not happy I paid $375 (with $75 tip) to get this result, & he didn’t agree til I took down my other review I posted about him & ended up with $100 back which I took with no complaints. Felt like slimy business & a bribe. Not cool.

Gosh I so so so love my haircut!!! ❤️ It was my first time at this salon, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a new hair salon. I’ll definitely be coming back! The salon is so clean, modern, and luxurious, and everyone was incredibly L welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Such an amazing experience from start to finish!
