I am basically brother's POA and Ive had multiple conversations with Dr Nguyen. She truly cares about my brother and has his best interests at heart. Ive spoken with her at length multiple times and have full confidence in her. He lives in an Independent living facility in San Antonio and I live in Houston, but we have managed to communicate well and get things done. Im very pleased and highly recommend.

Subject: Concern Regarding Appointment Cancellation Dear Dr. Nguyen, I am writing to express my frustration regarding the cancellation of my appointment that was scheduled for Monday, April 20th at 10:00 AM. Yesterday, I missed a phone call and later received a voicemail stating that my appointment had been canceled due to updated insurance information. When I called your office today, I was informed that it is the patient’s responsibility to provide updated insurance each year, and because of this, my appointment was canceled and the schedule is now overbooked. I was then told the next available appointment is not until January 2027. I have already been waiting approximately five months for this appointment, so this outcome is extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable. Canceling an appointment after a single missed call—nearly two weeks before the scheduled date—without multiple attempts to reach me feels unreasonable. As patients, we rely on your office not only for care but also for clear communication. Given that we pay for both insurance and medical services, I would expect more proactive outreach regarding required updates, especially ahead of scheduled appointments. At this point, I am considering finding another provider due to this experience. However, I would appreciate it if you could review this situation and let me know if there is any way to accommodate me sooner. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Lien Pham

I came in for an appointment. I want to my appointment. I was having severe pain due to my fibromyalgia. I told the Dr. NGYUEN that my pain was 10 out of 10. She said nothing, completely stoic and unresponsive. I told her that my mother had passed the week before. She ignored me and show no emotion or compassion. Other things too many to number. I would not recommend this Dr.

Dr. Nguyen and her staff are fantastic. I switched primary care to her over 2 years ago and never looked back. She's very honest about the best care with a plan of care for a healthier, safer resolution to any issue. Her responses on the patient portal are always timely. My only hesitation in recommending her is that her office become impersonable, like some doctors offices. Somehow, I think her staff will not allow that. Thank you, Dr. Nguyen!

The staff is rude when you call. The doctor does not listen to her patients. She judges everything based on weight. Something is wrong with you, oh it's because you're overweight, oh you can't have that because you're overweight. I'd rather go across town to my old doctor than to have to wait a month just to get a sick appt with her.
