ICHS Legacy House

Over the past few years, three of our elderly parents — from both my side and my wife’s side of the family — have moved into Legacy House (LH). Our family has been very pleased with the care and support they have received, and I highly recommend this assisted living facility for several reasons. 1) Exceptional and approachable management - The management team at LH is highly effective in a way that is rare in many healthcare facilities. They are easy to reach, genuinely approachable, and always willing to help. They understand that every resident has unique needs and are flexible and responsive in addressing them. 2) Outstanding facility staff - Although the building itself is older, the facility staff is outstanding. Maintenance and support teams respond quickly to any concerns or requests, and their dedication makes a big difference in day-to-day living for residents and families alike. 3) Excellent food quality - Last but certainly not least, the food is delicious and high quality. Our parents consistently enjoy their meals, which is an important part of their comfort and well-being. Finally, a few weeks ago, one of the managers called me to say they had found $500 in my father’s pocket while doing his laundry. I had no idea he was carrying cash, and at 90 years old with significant memory loss, he didn’t remember it either. Their honesty and care in handling that situation spoke volumes and earned our family’s trust. Thank you, LH for everything you are doing for elderly people. Keep up the great work!

Having read all the reviews about Legacy House, I felt compelled to add mine as well. My Mother-in-Law was a resident at Legacy House for about 6 years. Throughout that entire time, all the staff took great care of her. There were moments when my Mother-in-Law could be a bit challenging, but the entire team of health care providers were very patient and didn’t let that change their genuine care and concern for her well-being and safety. I would like to recognize Min, Kelly, Lilian, Chie, Yi, Laiwan, My, Sally, Jian Fen and the other team members for providing and creating a safe, nurturing “home” for my Mother-in-Law in the final years of her life. A very sincere and appreciative “thanks” to the entire team at Legacy House.

My mother moved into Legacy House last year and SHE LOVES IT! I’ve been her live-in caregiver for many years and wasn’t sure how she would handle the transition to assisted living. It is a huge relief that she is happy at Legacy House. The staff are very caring and treat resident like they are family. My mom loves the food too! She sits at the Vietnamese table and has made friends. Thank you to all the staff at Legacy House for providing such wonderful care to my mom 🙏❤️

They were such a great help with my mom when I was searching for an Adult Care facility. The staff always looked out for her and they brought a smile with them whenever my mom needed help. I'm so pleased with the support my mom received and I never felt like she was forgotten. There's a great variety of knowledgeable staff I've met with that would assist in making my mom feel comfortable and eased my anxiety - they know what they're doing and it shows! Legacy House paired with the PACE system is so worth it. Highly recommended since it provides additional care for my mom with medical assistance and they would take care of the incoming bills/paperwork.
