I would not recommend this dental office to anyone. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes without a single person acknowledging me. After waiting that long, I finally got up and asked if they even knew I was there. The woman behind the desk admitted that she didn’t know I had checked in because their front desk staff wasn’t there that day. Honestly, I’m having a hard time believing that explanation because another woman signed in on the clipboard after I did and was helped before me. If they saw her name, how did they not see mine? And if your front desk staff is out, shouldn’t someone be paying extra attention to the waiting room instead of less? Once I finally made myself known, the first thing they tried to do was charge me $20 for an exam that wasn’t covered by my insurance. I declined and asked if I would at least still be getting the cleaning I had scheduled. That’s when I was told no—they would only be examining my mouth. So after sitting there for 45 minutes completely ignored, I wasn’t even going to receive the service I made the appointment for. At that point, I canceled my appointment and walked out. Looking back, I probably should have expected issues. The day before my appointment, the office called me. I assumed it was just a confirmation call, but after confirming who I was, the employee immediately said, “Okay, hold,” without explaining why she called or why I was being put on hold. I eventually had to ask if there was a problem with my appointment before anyone bothered to tell me there was an issue. The whole experience felt disorganized from start to finish. I also find it ironic that they advertise 24/7 online scheduling right on their window, yet apparently can’t keep track of online appointments. If you’re going to promote online booking as a convenience, you should be able to manage the appointments that come through it. Between being ignored for 45 minutes, the poor communication, the confusion about what services I was actually receiving, and the overall lack of professionalism, this was a complete waste of my time. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I have HIGH anxiety at the dentist, and have been humiliated and disrespected in the past by other doctors, but Dr. Ike is hands down the kindest, most patient, most gentle, and respectful dentist I've encountered. His bedside manner is exceptional and I would highly recommend him to other patients with high anxiety at the dentist. Dr. Ike and Danie helped me so much through my fillings appointment and really made it as stress free as they could. The front desk staff is very friendly and personable and are understanding and accommodating if you are running late or need to cancel.

10 out of 10 recommend! Everyone at this office is patient and kind. Dr. Ike is young enough to relate to teens but old enough to know his craft well. My kids and I felt comfortable. And, the best part, is that I didn’t feel like someone was trying to scam me. I believe we got the care we needed without being taken to the cleaners.

I’d like to send the most sincere praise to Stephanie, Ty, and Dr. Ike at Ideal Dental Aliana! I was looking for a new dentist after moving to the Richmond area. I am always a little apprehensive about finding a new dentist but Dr. Ike, Stephanie, and TY provided world class service and made me feel at peace. Stephanie helped with booking, insurance authorization, and all the administrative tasks, while TY got all of my X-rays and bitewings. Dr. Ike thoroughly reviewed the images and did a full oral exam before providing informed decisions related to my dental care. I was impressed that even Dr. Ike took a part in the cleaning process, which I’ve never had a dentist do before. I’m stepping out of the Ideal Dental office with the biggest smile knowing my teeth are clean and sparkling! Trust the reviews! Dr. Ike and the full staff at Ideal Dental are incredible!

What a great place, my new dentist! Dr. Osemene and his care/office team are so pleasant. They really care! Everything from treatment to payment was explained thoroughly. I definitely trust them with my dental care!
