Ideal Dental Las Colinas

Overall good service, but the facility needs improvement I had a positive experience with the dental care at this facility in terms of timeliness and service quality. I was seen right on time for my appointment, and the treatment itself was professional and efficient. The staff was friendly, and I felt the dental work was done competently. However, I was quite disappointed with the physical condition and setup of the facility. The lack of privacy was noticeable — the treatment rooms are only separated by walls with no doors, so you can clearly hear conversations and procedures from other patients. It made the whole experience feel less private and comfortable than expected in a healthcare setting. Additionally, the cleanliness and overall atmosphere left much to be desired. The walls are painted in very dark colors, which make the space feel gloomy. The floors didn’t look as clean as they should in a dental office, and I noticed dirt on the legs of the chairs. Most concerning was when the dental hygienist was touching the computer keyboard and mouse while actively working inside my mouth — this didn’t feel very sanitary. While the actual dental service was good and I was seen promptly, the outdated structure, lack of privacy, and hygiene concerns in the facility itself made the visit less pleasant than it could have been. I hope they consider updating the layout and improving cleanliness standards going forward.

I went as a first time patient today & had a great experience. While I didn’t get their names the dental hygienist & the person who explained the billing to me were very nice. Billing: she explained the prices to me in a way that wasn’t confusing, straight to the point, & helped make sure my next appointment met my needs. Dental hygienist: He was very welcoming and professional. His small talk took the stress away from this being my first time going to the dentist in a while. Also, made sure to explain everything he was doing. Would for sure come again !

**AVOID THIS PLACE** charging more than insurance cost and they try to make more money by adding unnecessary items in the estimation. Do not sign the estimates they provide.. better to visit other dental office. Insurance company contacted multiple times, still they are not processing the refund for the over charged amount. They called to pay extra $ and they say - we will send for collection. But Nedda Hifeda (Endodontist) done a good job.

AVOID THIS PLACE......my wife went to Ideal Dental on a Saturday due to a severe aching tooth. She had just recently had a bad sinus infection but thought something else was going on. She went and explained the recent severe sinus infection, so they took X-rays and did an exam. They told her they thought she was experiencing possible bone loss but wanted her to come back the following Monday to complete a deep cleaning. So she went back the following Monday, and they never did the deep cleaning and didn't know anything about it. They looked at her teeth again and told her she needed to remove her silver fillings, as they were likely causing the problem. She was so upset at this time, she just left because of two different diagnoses at this point, and nobody knew about the deep cleaning they told her about. Well, it's a good thing she left because Tuesday she went to a local dentist and they took x-rays and quickly told her it was her sinus infection still putting pressure on that tooth. In short, she got another round of antibiotics, and it cleared up within a few days, with no more pain. Again, AVOID THIS PLACE. I've always been told that any place that says you need to remove your silver fillings just because, avoid them.

The team at Ideal Dental - Las Colinas was fabulous. My hygienist, Tiffany, was a sweetheart and did a fantastic job with my cleaning. The entire staff was incredibly personable and attentive to my needs. Could not recommend enough!
