New patient here. Haven’t been to the doctor in many years, I’m now 42. Dr. Huerta is very attentive and listens to your concerns. The staff overall was pleasant as well. I was nervous about going to the doctor (although it was just for an annual exam), but she made me feel comfortable. Thank you again, Dr. Huerta.

Dr Huerta is fantastic. She’s been my doctor for 10+ years. I hesitate giving 5 stars knowing it will make her even busier and thus harder for me to get on her schedule! The only thing I don’t like about the practice is the patient portal. It’s subpar given other systems available on the market.

First time seeing Dr Huerta and I am so happy with the visit. She takes her time with you and listens to all your questions and concerns. I felt heard and understood. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a doctor who cares!

If you need a new family practice doctor, you owe it yo yourself to give Internal Medicine of Plano and Frisco a call. My new primary care doctor is Dr. Jessica Huerta DO, MS. and she is great, as is the staff at the West Frisco location. I have "White Coat Syndrome". It's when your blood pressure spikes to high levels in a doctor's office due to anxiety or stress about the visit. When I arrived, I waited only a couple minutes before Bree took me into the back and reviewed my medical history, prescriptions, etc. She was friendly and was easy to talk to. I felt a little less stressed by the time she was finished. Prior to my appointment, I had created a document of various injuries, pain, concerns, etc. I did this, as I always seem to forget things that I wanted to talk to the doctor about. I gave it to Bree, to make a photo copy and it was evident that Dr. Huerta had not only read it before seeing me, but zeroed in on things she wanted to discuss in more detail. Dr. Jessica Huerta was very impressive. She is personable, very knowledgeable, detail minded, and accommodating. She is also the fastest typist I have ever seen, but most of all, she made me feel comfortable. That is rare for me in a medical setting. Prior to going to my appointment, my blood pressure was up and I felt anxious. That is typical, but when my blood pressure was taken, it was still high but considerably lower and I was no longer feeling anxious. It is really hard for me to seek medical help as I get very stressed just thinking about it. My blood pressure going down at my appointment... that has never happened before. I know that I am very lucky to have been referred to Dr. Jessica Huerta, and I am actually looking forward to my next appointment with her.
