****part one ****. If you’re considering IVF through IVFMD, I highly recommend taking a few minutes to read our experience. My wife and I began our reciprocal IVF journey with IVFMD, and we are now pregnant with twins. While this journey came with its ups and downs, we can honestly say we could not have done it without Dr. Dillion and her medical assistant, Kathy. Before anything else, I want to emphasize this: we almost left this clinic due to ongoing issues with the billing department. The confusion, lack of communication, and stress were overwhelming at times. But the reason we stayed and the reason we’re so grateful today is because of Dr. Dillion and Kathy. They made everything worth it. Dr. Dillion was so much more than just our doctor. She truly took the time to get to know us, not just as patients, but as people. She knew our kids, celebrated our milestones, and made us feel genuinely cared for every step of the way. IVF can be filled with anxiety and fear, but she always reassured me, answered every question, and created a space where I felt safe and supported. She has a warmth about her that makes you feel like family, and during a journey like IVF, that kind of care is everything. Kathy has been with us since our very first appointment all the way through to the day we graduated from the clinic, and I truly don’t have enough words to express how incredible she is. It takes a special kind of person to support IVF patients, and Kathy has that and so much more. We emailed her constantly, sometimes 10–15 times a day for months, and she always responded quickly and kindly. She never once made us feel like a burden. Her calm, reassuring presence made such a difference for us. She went above and beyond, even ordering extra bloodwork just to give us peace of mind. You know you’re in a great clinic when you graduate and your kids say, “I’m really going to miss Kathy and Dr. Dillion.” Although they weren’t our primary doctors, Dr. Le and Dr. Raj also went out of their way to support us, even calling after hours to answer questions and offer guidance. That level of care across the team meant so much. At 6 weeks pregnant, I experienced a hematoma that caused heavy bleeding, one of the scariest moments of my life. Kathy immediately got me into the office, and Dr. Dillion saw me right away for a scan. My wife was having surgery at the time, so I was physically alone, but I never felt alone. These two women supported me, comforted me, and carried me through that moment. After that, they monitored me weekly, and we watched my body heal. Today, I’m 9 weeks pregnant with healthy twins, and I will never forget the care they gave me during that time. ***My wife is posting a part 2 explaining the billing issues***
Thank you IVF MD Clinic for being such an important part of our journey. I would like to share our experience and review of IVFMD Clinic. A friend referred us to the clinic when we were in a very confused and emotional state, unsure whether to move forward with the process. It felt overwhelming, time-consuming, expensive, and emotionally draining, and we were feeling quite depressed and uncertain about what to do next. However, from the very first time we met Dr. Lee, we felt a sense of hope and reassurance. Dr. Lee is incredibly calm, knowledgeable, process-oriented, and supportive. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered our questions with patience, and made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. His professionalism, compassion, and positive attitude truly made a big difference in our journey. The staff at IVFMD Clinic have also been wonderful. They are very organized, helpful, and accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments and explaining each step of the process in detail. Each patient is assigned a nurse, and Nurse Daisy was assigned to us. She has been amazing throughout our journey. Daisy is calm, kind, and extremely helpful. Whenever we had questions or concerns, we could email her, and she would respond quickly after checking with the doctor. Her prompt communication and caring nature helped ease our minds in so many situations. The whole process took about four months for us, and as I mentioned, it was a very emotionally draining journey. Along the way, we faced many challenges and often
I unfortunately lost my baby at my second trimester and was lost on what my next steps were so I called the office the day it happened left a voicemail. A nurse called and said they would reach out to my doctor and reach back out. I called the next day and left a message with the front desk since I needed more information before my induction. Since no one reached out I called the following day when I was finally able to talk to nurse Annella who was rude and unhelpful she acted as if she knew nothing that was going on and couldn’t answer any questions because she wasn’t the doctor. If all I need to do was make an appointment with the doctor then why was I even transferred to a nurse . Annella was un empathetic , told her there was no reason to have an attitude or be rude and instead of apologizing she told me I was the one being rude. I was originally calm but with all the emotions I’m dealing with for someone to not have any empathy and try to even help is going to get a reaction from anybody.
I do not recommend this clinic. If you're trying to start a family, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. We chose this office because it came highly recommended by my OB-GYN, but our experience has been incredibly disappointing. Communication has been poor from the start. Instead of keeping patients informed, they rely heavily on the patient portal, leaving us to chase down answers ourselves. I paid $185 out of pocket for lab work and never received a call to discuss my results. I ended up uploading the report into ChatGPT just to understand what it meant because no one from the clinic reviewed it with me. My husband provided a semen analysis sample on March 24, 2026, and we paid $160 out of pocket. Despite us explaining multiple times that we were self-pay patients, the office repeatedly called asking for his insurance information. However, they never called with the test results. After months of trying to get answers and making numerous phone calls, we finally reached someone on July 16, 2026, only to be told they couldn't find the semen analysis in their records. We were transferred to another staff member, sent to voicemail, and, based on our experience, I don't expect anyone will call us back. This entire experience has been frustrating, stressful, and heartbreaking. When you're seeking fertility care, you expect compassion, clear communication, and competent follow-through. Unfortunately, we experienced none of those things. At this point, even if the clinic were to locate the missing results or offer us a refund, we've lost confidence in their ability to manage our care and will be seeking treatment elsewhere. Their motto is "Where Hope Is Born." Sadly, our experience has been the exact opposite. Instead of giving us hope, this clinic left us feeling ignored, disappointed, and discouraged during one of the most vulnerable times in our lives.
**Part 2 for billing issues connected to my wife’s post** Part 2 Now, to be fully transparent, the biggest downfall of this clinic is the billing department. Communication was extremely poor, calls were rarely returned, questions often went unanswered, and we were sometimes notified just 20 minutes before appointments that we needed to pay large, unexpected balances or risk not being seen. This added an overwhelming level of stress during a time when patients truly need peace and support. We spent countless hours trying to get answers, often with no resolution. At one point, we contacted our insurance company ourselves and discovered that our IVF treatment had actually been approved and covered, something the billing department never clearly communicated to us. We were told we would be refunded $2,700+ for paying out of pocket for our IVF global package, but we never received that refund. Eventually, we chose to stop pursuing it because the stress of dealing with billing simply wasn’t worth it. Highly recommend keeping receipts and documenting emails and phone calls because everyone in billing tells you something different. That said, once we were connected with Linda in billing( she doesn’t work in the office) things improved significantly. She was kind, responsive, and actually provided clear answers, which made a huge difference. We truly wish that level of professionalism and communication was consistent across the entire billing department. At the end of the day, despite the billing challenges, Dr. Dillion and Kathy made this experience not only manageable but meaningful. They brought comfort, compassion, and genuine care into one of the most emotional journeys of our lives. For us, that was worth it all. ****SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS AND ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT BILLING ****
