I went to this shop to have a headlight replaced on my 2011 Cadillac CTS. At the time, I assumed everything was done correctly. A couple of months later, I took my car to a different repair shop for unrelated work, and they showed me that my front bumper had been zip-tied underneath and that a component under the car (part of the control/monitor system) had been knocked loose or damaged. My bumper had never been zip-tied before, and I have not been in any accidents since the work was done. The zip ties also appeared old, which suggests they had been there for a while. I went back to the shop to calmly explain what another mechanic had found. The owner seemed irritated that I brought it up. After waiting for him to finish with other customers, he briefly looked under the car and immediately began saying the car must have been wrecked. However, I have not had any accidents, and the bumper was not like that before the repair. I simply wanted the issue looked at and discussed, but I felt my concerns were dismissed. Based on my experience, I would recommend that customers carefully check their vehicles after having work done here. I asked to speak to the owner and a manager I don't know which one I was talking too. He didn't check to see when the work was done if the work was done I was totally dismissed I would never return to the shop just the way he handled things so unprofessionally arguing with me not even trying to resolve the issue He started the argument tried to accuse me of lying I feel like if I was a man he would have handled the situation totally different

This shop was recommended to me by a friend, and now I am recommending them to everyone else. Needed a CV axle/joint replacement. I called them in the late afternoon one day, and they said they could do the repair first thing in the morning the following day. They allowed me to supply my own parts and charged me just for the labor. The repair time they quoted me was an hour, they were done in 25 minutes. Took it on a test drive, found out there was something else in the suspension that needed to be adressed. They quickly got it back on the lift, fixed it, test drove again, and all was done. They took an hour in total, with the additional unexpected issue resolved. I was only charged what I had originally been quoted for the work, and was back on the road in no time. These guys are upfront, honest, and very kind. If you're looking for a shop to support locally in your community that knows what they are doing, go to J & A Auto Repair. They just gained a lifetime customer with me.

Quick service and polite staff. I paid $20 for a very quick license plate installation (two screws, about 2 minutes). Personally, the price felt a bit high, so I wanted to share for transparency.

Been going here for 10+ years, and I've never been anywhere else that is as fast and efficient with diagnosing and fixing problems when it comes to any of my vehicles. Hands down the best service in Richardson, if not Texas!!
