Below are the photos of the hair I left with, vs my inspiration After clarifying with my stylist numerous times (and her confirmation that it was possible), I told her that I wanted an all over color and no warmth or streaks whatsoever. I left with *orange* stripes and streaks throughout my hair. After mentioning my unhappiness with my $400 service, I was offered an additional toner free of charge. Initially, the second toner darkened the color all around and helped blend some of those streaks in with the rest of my hair. However, within the first wash it instantly reverted back to orange streaks with green ends. Desperate to fix this mess, I booked an appointment with another salon for an all over color. This stylist refused to touch my hair and told me “honestly, you should reach back out to the owner of whatever salon that did this and request a refund, or for them to fix it.” So the next day I call and have the absolute misfortune of speaking with the owner. After explaining the situation politely, his approach was to immediately become argumentative and explaining to me that the reason my toner lasted one wash was because of “hard water” and the products I use at home. I informed him that I have a water filter and used the $50 purple shampoo that was sold to my by the same stylist, which upon speaking with the other stylist, will not even work to correct my hair level. He explained to me that the only way for my hair to lighten was with highlights? (I’ve gone blonde from black before, never been the case) He continued to talk over me and argue until I inevitably hung up the phone. I had a very unpleasant experience all in all. The stylist was nice but I would’ve appreciated her denying the service initially if she knew she wouldnt be able to give me what I was asking for. I don’t think this is an absurd request. I have asked multiple times now for the salon to make it right in any way, as I payed for a color correction and now have to pay to get this mess corrected elsewhere. Additionally, as I am a full time model this chop job of a hair service is preventing me from booking gigs. This is beyond unacceptable.

Francesca completely mastered my color inspiration! I needed gray coverage, highlights, and a gloss to warm up the color. I absolutely love the dimension she added! The salon is beautiful and filled with welcoming, talented stylists.

I'm so impressed with the staff and my stylist Yuridia! It was my first time coming to this salon and as soon as I stepped in the door it felt like luxury! Their recent renovations are stunning and everything looks very clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming at the front desk and offered me a drink of choice immediately. My stylist was so kind and listened to the issues I had with my hair and she did an amazing job!! I had issues with my layers being choppy and short but Yuridia blended them so well that I love my hair now! Wash, cut, and style was included in the price which was so worth it and a great deal. Definitely will visit them again, and I usually don't like coming to salons but this one changed my mind ☺️ I even got recommended a product that I ended up buying in the salon before I left!

Absolutely loved my experience at J Gold with Yuridia! I shared pictures of what I wanted for my haircut, and she went above and beyond! I felt listened to and well taken care of during the experience, and I left feeling amazing about my new look. I’ll definitely be coming back!
