JP Style is a beauty salon in Aurora, Colorado, at 2222 S Havana St, Aurora, CO 80014. Customer feedback highlights haircuts and attentive, personalized consultations, making the salon worth considering if you are looking for a stylist who listens before deciding how to shape your hair. Reviewers particularly praise Julie and Minsook for their hair design, friendly manner, and ability to work with a client’s preferences and hair. The salon has a 4.7-star rating from 62 reviews, offering a useful snapshot of local customer experiences while individual appointments may vary.

Haircuts are the clearest signature service described in customer reviews. One longtime client says Julie has provided reliable hair design over the past decade and appreciates that she takes time to understand what the client’s hair can and cannot do. Another reviewer was pleased that Minsook delivered the haircut they wanted after a long break from salon visits. Parents also mention bringing their teenage son and daughter to Julie for haircuts. Together, these experiences suggest JP Style may suit clients who value communication and a stylist’s considered approach, including people seeking a haircut for themselves or their teenagers.

The salon’s atmosphere is described by one customer as welcoming, with a smile at the greeting and a friendly, sweet interaction during the visit. A reviewer also notes that the salon is Korean-owned, and another mentions a nearby café called Coffee Story as a possible coffee-and-haircut pairing. These details come from customer accounts rather than a full service list, so it is best to contact the salon directly about available services, stylist preferences, appointment timing, and any specific hair needs. Reviews are not uniformly positive: one pair of customers felt their back-to-back appointments were rushed, with each haircut taking about 20 minutes including shampoo. Another customer advises booking ahead and notes that a stylist may take the time needed to get the haircut right, which may not be ideal if you are in a hurry.

JP Style is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and closed on Monday and Sunday. Because customers describe different appointment experiences—and one reviewer was accommodated without a booking but did not recommend arriving that way—calling ahead or arranging an appointment is a sensible choice. Its South Havana Street location makes the address easy to use when planning a visit in Aurora. For a first appointment, bring a clear description or reference for the haircut you want and allow enough time for a consultation. Whether you are a local resident, a parent arranging teen haircuts, or someone looking for a stylist who listens closely, JP Style offers a local option with positive feedback alongside practical reminders to book and communicate your expectations.

Julie is awesome! She is very patient and listens before deciding what to do. I love how she knows what my hair can and cannot do and does a remarkable job! My son and daughter are teenagers and asks me to take them to Julie for haircuts …

Julie is a sincere and talented hair designer; she has never let me down in the last decade; I'm 100% sure you'll be satisfied. She moved to a new place. You will also love good cafe 'Coffee Story'. Coffee and hair. Isn't it awesome match? Enjoy!

My Korean friend recommended this place because he had a great experience, and I know it can be hard to find someone who can cut Asian hair well. That’s why my friend and I booked back-to-back appointments. Unfortunately, both of our haircuts felt very rushed—about 20 minutes each including shampoo. The stylist didn’t show me the back of my hair, and when I asked for more thinning at the bottom, she brushed off my request and saying I don’t need to cut more then moved on to my friend, who had a similar experience. Compared to what my Korean friend described, the service felt dismissive and made us wonder if we were treated differently because we were not korean. I don’t think a 20-minute haircut is worth $50. I’m sharing this review so others are aware and don’t end up having the same experience I did.

Super happy with my haircut! I love it! When you walk in you're greeted with a smile and the ambiance was just welcoming. This is also a Korean owned hair salon. I haven't had a haircut for almost 2-3 years and Misok made my hair exactly how I wanted it. She was super sweet and friendly the entire time and accommodated me as needed. Finally a hairstylist that I can go to that knows how to cut Asian hair, especially mine since it's very straight and thick. I would also call in to make an appointment as they're always booked up! The price was worth every penny. I will be coming back here again!

Love love love Minsook! It was my first time here. I didn’t have an appointment (don’t recommend this dumb move), but they were able to accommodate me. If you’re in a rush, don’t bother booking with her. She wants your haircut to be …
