If you’re looking for a great local donut shop, I highly recommend Just Rising Donuts on Almeda Genoa. Everything is always fresh, and they open bright and early at 5:00 AM, making it the perfect stop before work. Their donuts are consistently fresh and delicious, but that’s only part of what they offer. They also have a fantastic selection of breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, kolaches, and fresh coffee every morning. The kolaches are some of the best around—made with generous, quality sausages, not those skinny little hot dogs you get at some places! The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and it’s the kind of family-run business that’s easy to support. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast for yourself or picking up treats for the office, you won’t be disappointed. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We visited some friends in the area and stopped by at this local gem. The donuts were fresh, soft, and full of flavor. There was a nice variety to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. I especially liked their breakfast burritos. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great and reasonably priced donuts and breakfast burritos.

The quality here is simply unmatched. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and made with clear care and attention to detail. There is something special about supporting a local family business that clearly takes pride in their craft. Not sure whats with the negative reviews from people but if something isn’t right, I know the owners will be happy to make it right if you just tell them vs leaving a negative review to hurt a family owned business. This place is hands-down the best spot in the area. Highly recommended!

Absolutely worth the trip! This family-run gem is our absolute favorite. Even though we live far away, we make it a point to stop by every single time we are in the area. The donuts are always incredibly fresh and yummy, the prices are great, and the family is so welcoming. But the real star for us? Their kolaches—they are hands down our favorite! Supporting this shop is a no-brainer.

Awesome little breakfast place! If you’re looking to get a quick breakfast sandwich that is delicious and will not break the bank, this is your place! Food is made with care and service is wonderful! The owner Mr. Li is very courteous and always greets everyone with a smile. We will be coming back often.
