I been Dr Patel patient for almost 5 years I had a great experience at this dental office. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. My son and I have been coming here for our regular cleanings for years, and we’ve always had a great experience. The entire team is friendly, professional, and very punctual which to me is extremely important. There’s rarely any wait, which I really appreciate. They also take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you feel comfortable and informed. More recently, I needed some major dental work that took several months to complete, which is normal for the type of treatment I needed. Throughout the entire process, everything was explained to me clearly, and I always felt like I was in good hands. I’m extremely happy with the final results and very grateful for the care I received. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist they can trust for both routine care and more extensive dental work!

If you’re considering Katy Modern Dentistry for anything beyond a routine cleaning, be very careful. My experience was six months of inaccurate billing, inconsistent information, broken promises, delayed treatment, and ultimately no resolution. I was quoted hundreds of dollars out of pocket, then later thousands, and eventually told I would likely be responsible for nearly 100% of future treatment before the office even knew what my actual responsibility would be. What makes this especially frustrating is that Aetna was not the problem. Their representatives were outstanding. They repeatedly reviewed my claims, explained my benefits, and even called the office directly multiple times to help correct the billing and claim submission issues. Despite those efforts, nothing changed because the office failed to follow through. Sydney was my primary point of contact throughout this process. I was promised callbacks, updates, corrected claim submissions, and answers on multiple occasions, but those commitments rarely materialized. I ultimately felt like I was responsible for coordinating between Aetna and the dental office just to understand what I actually owed. Before posting this review, I hand-delivered a letter to Dr. Patel asking for his personal help. I wasn’t asking for free treatment—only for someone to take ownership of the billing issues so I could continue my care. I never received a response. After six months, I sought opinions from two other dentists and chose to continue my treatment elsewhere. If you choose this office, make sure you receive a detailed written estimate and independently verify your expected out-of-pocket costs before agreeing to any major treatment. I wish someone had given me that advice before I started.
