We went to one of open house hosted by Keller Williams. We were welcomed in by an agent who introduced himself and asked us to put booties on, before we could both finish putting booties on we were asked several questions about where we live, why we’re looking, all ok guess. Then before we could take a step further to look at the house, agent asked for my phone number as to write it down. I declined, stating cordially that “We don’t give out our phone number”. For obvious reasons, right? Attended 2 Open Houses in similar price range in previous hour, and never asked either. Should have been the end of it. However, agent turned to my husband and argued in a somewhat admonishing tone that, “You are in someone else’s house, you should provide your phone number”, which he repeated after we again declined. The agents twice saying, “you enter someone else property and not sharing your phone number?” I thought that was the rudest statement I ever heard for a open house event, Having handful of experience of buying and selling houses of our properties, always known agent can politely ask for buyer to leave a contact info if they choose. But not allowing to enter the open house without a phone number is far too intrusive, since no business relationship is established or requested. We left without touring the property, feeling it best for everybody.

Found their office name on a recently sold. Called their number, granted it was 6 oclock, no indication in the vmail that it's an actual RE office. Emailed a realtor the night before that, no response. I'm a bit baffled.

If there were a zero that is what I would give them. Why would you ever want to work with someone who after several exchanges, lie? This agency is a hoax. When listing your home... beware of agents like this who lie about potential buyers just to trick you into scheduling time with them... oh, we weren't selling to you... we wanted you to know what "team" we have to offer you. In addition, to the lies, the agent who was in charge didn't have the decency to join the zoom and left the poor new guy to try to flounder through a discussion of what followed emails of misleading information.

Let me start by saying I understand the current market and how quickly it is moving. That being said, there is a difference when it comes to realtors/brokers in this market as well. I have noticed that a great deal are very on the used car …
