The vibes are immaculate here. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The food is delicious and priced about the same as your problematic chain coffee shop. And the patio is so nice on pretty days. It's never TOO crowded, and the people watching is great.

Many coffee and tea shops attempt the simulation of a relaxed, calm ambience conducive to a place of both relaxation and a place to complete work. Kochi cafe is a calm cafe tucked away from the standard city scape, offering a quiet nook to hold up on any day, hot or cool, to provide respite for the weary worker or city explorer. The Asiatic undertones in decor provide a tasteful addition to their expert tea offerings. The tea and coffees are executed to all expectations, not prioritizing one over the other, and thus, providing satisfying libations to any guest. The ability to make a cozy London fog, fluffy cappuccino, or simple drip coffee, exhibit their conscious effort to providing a variety of delicious options. Their food offerings are varied and tasty, offering some beautiful shumai and steamed buns in addition to some more common, and still delicious, cafe pastry faire. In sum, Kochi will serve your cafe needs, though you will notice the emphasis on hospitality, comfort, flavor, and culture. Their reliability and consistency rivals any chain coffee shop, with added panache and depth of flavor.

Nice spot to enjoy a cup of tea. The iced matcha latte was excellent. However the regular chai was not as spicy as I'd expect. They also have a spicy chai which you should order if that's what you prefer. The chocolate bread was outstanding...not overly sweet and perfect with a hot beverage. The sweet pistachio croissants is good. The only disappointment was the leek croissant which was in a pop tart shape. Filling was really tasty but some of the top was underdone. It didn't look completely browned on top so I should have known better.

Very good coffee and a large selection of interesting teas including some loose leaf teas on their tea wall such as the peach ginger loose leaf black tea. Some pastries, empanadas and quiches. The bacon cheddar quiche is outstanding. …

I've been going to Kochi multiple times a week for the last three years. They have the best breakfast pastries and I have loved every drink I've tried. This place is obviously a neighborhood favorite, and it's not hard to see why. Get a bacon quiche and an iced lavender latte. Thank me later.
