First time eating sushi and it was incredible. Very upscale restaurant but the food matched. It was fresh and delicious. I am no expert on Sushi but we had great service. It was almost immediately that an empty plate was cleared from our table which was impressive. A must visit if you love sushi and are in LA!

Trendy Japanese fusion spot in West Hollywood that has a cool vibe and good selection of sushi. The service was friendly and attentive as well. My favorite dishes were the Aka Roll and the Filet Mignon dishes. The Aka Roll had spicy tuna and topped with more! The Filet Mignon was served with mashed potatoes and was super flavorful and filling. I enjoyed the Flourless Molten Lava Cake too! Decadent and delish!!

It's definitely the best modern fusion Japanese we had in the USA by a long shot. Exquisite taste and the price reflects this. Food is very fresh and the cocktails are quite good. People watching is 10/10 and the ambiance is fantastic for a date. I liked their rendition of 'Nobu style' miso black cod as well!

Koi is so incognito! The food is literally the number sushi restaurant in Los Angeles! Order the truffle salmon carpaccio is going to melt in your mouth (you’re welcome 🫡) Kiiro & AKa roll are your go too ! Don’t get cheap and only order the basic. Lastly the creamy shrimp (fried tempura) if you like shrimp! Emily was our serve btw who has been there for a several years. The busses snd the management made time to come table on several occasions to make sure we were pleased! Lastly the drinks , yes you figure how to mix the bar with sushi 🤷… well it was bomb 💣 💥 I got the passionfruit Margarita with a Taheen and the other drink was the gin shaking, not stirred lol To be honest, it’s shocking the fact that Los Angeles has true Customer service KOI is the epitome of what the service should be in the Entertainment and Restaurant world everyone take a note. Come here to see how it’s supposed to be done double thumbs up for this location and team and

I came here last night, traveling from DC. I have high expectations for customer service overall, quality of the food, and ambiance. We had reservations at 9:30 PM, at 10:05 PM we were finally given the option to sit at the patio, which we declined and waited at the bar for our seats. This is where the main concern comes in. My best friend does NOT drink alcohol- for a multitude of reason. She requested a lychee mocktail, which she not only verbally requested but also pointed to on the menu. She took a sip and immediately looked sick and said there was alcohol in her drink. The bartenders response wasn’t I deeply apologized- he immediately blamed her stating she ordered a lychee martini. When we then said, sir not only did she verbally express her request- she also pointed to it on the menu. My point here is that this establishment is representing themselves as lux. I have never seen such poor customer service at a lux restaurant experience, whose organization at check in is equally a mess. The owner needs to do something about this from front end to back end. You served alcohol to someone who doesn’t consume alcohol and you blame them and don’t even apologize? The food is a 6/10 at best. My server was sweet and the people who assisted her were very timely and hardworking. You all should be ashamed of operating in this manner. Step it up.
