Sign in to reviewNeeded a last minute haircut after flying in from Houston. I wanted to support my cousin who's currently fighting breast cancer, so wanted to shave my head to support her. The auntie there didn't disappoint. She knew exactly what to do and how I wanted my shaved head style to be.
I only come here for haircut. This lady charged me 3 dollars extra bcz she said i have long hair which is just bs and false. She didn't tell me I had to pay extra before the hair ut. She told me this after i handed her a 10 dollar note. Got scammed.
Never going here again. Only benefit is it's cheap, but that's of no use unless you want a close to buzz cut with uneven and flat hair no matter your hair type/face shape. Very dirty and rude as well. It was once I stopped going here, let my hair grow out that I realized I had great voluminous curls. I wish I never went here. Barbers Academy down the block is $10 but much better.
These clowns are the ABSOLUTE Worst hair cutters in the world. Without even asking anything, the hair cutter to the right (I think her name is Lisa) started to shave my head off. Well, I have a hair transplant and a massive scar line with a full set of hair. I don't want it to be shaved off. Lisa cut my hair in less than 3 Minutes. When I tried to stop her, she turned me away from the mirror and proceed to continue shaving my head. Because they cant speak English, they can't communicate. The two idiots just talk to themselves. They do not care! They just want money and for you to leave! It is also very dirty - none of their equipment is sanitized. If you want a budget cut, go to Barber Academy down the street!
By far the worst person to touch my hair; like seriously, even if the price is like really cheap (though the barber academy just across the block is like cheaper), the lady (Lisa) who cuts the hair is really weird and the hair cut, well, like my 5 year old niece uses the Phillips clipper and will probably do a better job than this lady. She didn’t even care to do the parting before running the clipper, I mean seriously? Anyways, was just visiting SJ so not much of a regret.
