Jamie was fabulous! She truly listened to what I was aiming for as far as color and style. Incredible professionalism and expertise. She didn’t just send me off with beautiful hair but also taught me how to maintain it. This salon is a rare find! If you’re at all in the area, GO! I must add that I am not reviewing myself! Miss Jamie blew me away!! i gave her no picture references really to work with and past box dyed job hair. She exceeded my expectations so so much!! i’m genuinely so happy with my coloring and she gave me the best haircut to date. i can’t say enough thank youu
I called this salon in advance and spoke with Jamie to book an appointment. I specifically requested a haircut and highlights and even provided a reference photo of what I wanted. She assured me she could achieve the look. When I arrived on time for my appointment, it was clear she was on a time crunch. Most of the appointment was spent on the highlights, and she never performed the haircut that I had booked. When her next client arrived, she rushed through the end of my appointment and even had me dry my own hair. The final result looked nothing like the photo I provided or what we discussed. I paid about $450 for this service and left very disappointed. I told her before leaving that the results were not what I asked for, and she blamed my hair color—even though I had clearly told her beforehand that my hair was virgin and naturally dark. She gave me her card and told me to reach out. Due to my demanding work schedule I couldn’t immediately return, but when I later called just to receive the haircut portion I had already paid for, she refused, laughed, and asked if I expected to get the haircut for free—even though it was part of the original service I paid for. Overall, this was a very unprofessional experience. I paid for services that were not fully completed and felt dismissed when I tried to resolve the issue. I would not recommend booking here if you expect clear communication, proper time management, or accountability for the services you pay for.
I loved everything about La Maison. I made a same-day appointment and was not sure what to expect. I selected Jamie, since she was the owner. My appointment was after work, so end of the day. I walked in to a few kids getting their haircut. It was wonderful and fun. They were having fun and Jamie and the other stylist were at ease and comfortable, so that made me comfortable also. Jamie took the time to understand what I wanted and explained a few things along the way which I appreciated. I am new to the area, and the salon and Jamie made me feel welcomed and appreciated. This will be my ONLY salon that I go to in the Dallas area. Quality was excellent and the price was reasonable. Do yourself a FAVOR and make an appointment at La Maison.
