LANA Hair Wash Spa - Head Spa San Jose

This was my mom’s and my first time at Lana Hair Wash, and we had such a calming and relaxing experience. From start to finish, everything was incredibly soothing, the ambiance, the service, and especially the massage. The pressure was absolutely perfect, making it one of the most relaxing hair spa experiences I’ve ever had. I had Kelly and my mom had Jessica, and both were absolutely amazing. They made us feel very comfortable the entire time and were so attentive. We were also provided with warm blankets and warm eye covers, which added an extra level of relaxation. Once the eye coverings became cool, they replaced them every time without us even having to ask such a thoughtful touch. They checked our scalp beforehand and then showed us the results afterward once everything was clean. It felt very professional and personalized. The space was very clean, and the instructions to get there were clear and easy to follow. If Lana Hair Wash were located in Sacramento, we would honestly be coming every month. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of service, and it was well worth it. You’ll definitely be seeing us again the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

I recently came across this charming and peaceful spot for scalp treatments, and I'm so glad I did! I found it on Yelp while searching for a place to pamper my scalp, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff here are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home, enhancing the overall experience. The treatment itself was fantastic—not only did they care for my hair, but they also gave a soothing neck and shoulder massage, which was the perfect touch. It was incredibly relaxing and felt amazing! I highly recommend this place, especially if you’ve never had a scalp treatment before. My scalp was really dry, but now it feels soft and rejuvenated—almost like a baby’s skin. If your scalp could use some extra care, this is definitely the spot to visit!

I went in today for massage, hair spa treatment, mini facial. My appointment was at 11:15. When I arrived they weren't ready. Alice said they were opening up when their hours say they open at 10. She was super nice. We had 2 appointments scheduled and Alice was the only one there. Kelly who was scheduled with me wasn't there. Alice had me get on the massage table while she started on my niece. I waited for about 15 mins for kelly to arrive. They tell you not to be late or it could affect you service. When Kelly did arrive she was on the phone the first half of my massage. She massaged me with one hand and was texting with the other. She had the phone on the massage table next to my head and it just kept vibrating over and over. Not very relaxing. She even put it on my lower back at one point and was texting with her phone on me. I finally told her something and she stopped texting. At the end of my massage she told me she was on the phone because it was business calls. I then asked her if her or the other girl were the owner and she said no just workers. I also told her I paid for a service not for her to be on the phone and to just rub my back in one spot because she wasn't paying attention because she was to busy texting. My whole service was finished before my niece when they started on her 15 to 20 mins before me. I didn't want to make a big deal about it there and ruin my nieces birthday.

I visited this place late last year for a scalp deep cleaning after finding a Groupon deal, and I’m so glad I did! Setting up the appointment was a breeze, although there was a bit of miscommunication regarding the timing. I ended up being late, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and still took me in for the full session, which I really appreciated. The experience itself was wonderful! The atmosphere was peaceful, making it easy to relax and enjoy the treatment. I will say that the head and shoulder massage was a bit intense for my liking, but it definitely got the job done! Overall, my scalp felt refreshed and rejuvenated afterward. I would recommend giving this place a try if you’re looking for a unique and relaxing experience!
