Latin Auto Service

Latin Auto Service is an auto repair shop at 5006 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC 28205, serving drivers in Charlotte, North Carolina. If you are looking for a local shop to discuss a vehicle problem or arrange a repair, this is one option on Albemarle Road. Customer feedback describes work on cars and trucks, with examples that include replacing hoses, a muffler, and a catalytic converter. The shop’s weekday schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; it is closed Saturday and Sunday. Calling or checking directly before visiting is a sensible way to confirm current availability and discuss what your vehicle needs.

Reviews offer a mixed picture, so it is useful to consider both the positive experiences and the concerns customers have shared. Some long-time customers describe the mechanics as knowledgeable and say they appreciate the help, honesty, and integrity they have experienced. Another reviewer reported that a muffler and catalytic converter replacement was completed the same afternoon after dropping off the vehicle around noon, and said the price was lower than at other shops they had considered. These accounts may be helpful context if you are comparing local repair options, although individual experiences can vary by vehicle, repair, and timing.

Other reviewers raise concerns about cost, communication, wait times, and how they were treated. One customer questioned the charge for replacing two hoses, while others described delays or an unsatisfactory interaction. Those differing accounts are reflected in the shop’s 3.9-star rating from 123 reviews. Before authorizing work, consider asking for a clear explanation of the diagnosis, an itemized estimate, the parts and labor involved, and an expected completion time. If anything is unclear, you can ask questions before deciding whether to proceed. That simple conversation can help you understand the proposed repair and make a choice that fits your needs.

Latin Auto Service may be worth considering for Charlotte-area drivers seeking a nearby auto repair shop and who want to discuss a specific issue directly with a mechanic. The customer examples suggest experience with both routine component replacement and exhaust-related repairs, including mufflers and catalytic converters, but they do not establish a complete service menu. Share your vehicle’s symptoms and ask whether the shop can inspect the problem, what information it needs, and whether an appointment is recommended. Its weekday hours may suit people able to visit during the workweek; weekend service is not listed. A thoughtful comparison of estimates and clear expectations can help you decide whether Latin Auto Service is the right fit for your car or truck.
