Victor is the real deal. One night I pulled in with milkshakes for my grandparents and a nervous rookie who looked 19 followed me into my driveway, asked if I’d been drinking, then let me walk inside. About 40 minutes later he returned with a pack of equally inexperienced officers, walked into our family home, and arrested me for felony assault with a deadly weapon. I was 23, no record, Biola grad, closing on my first house, growing my business. That night I thought my life was over. Victor jumped on it that same night, bailed me out the next day, and fought the charges from assault with a deadly weapon plus resisting arrest all the way down to complete dismissal.
