Sign in to reviewI like to come here during lunch hour for my oil changes. Lee is a good guy, old school mechanic just making a living from his auto repair shop. I do my brakes here too, great fair prices
Lee is awesome, straightforward and honest. Keeps you constantly updated and shows you what needs repairing before doing anything. Great work and true to his word. My car runs great (91 Honda Civic, new rack and pinion). Thanks Lee!
I found him just using Google and walked up, his garage is on the right just ask for Lee. He will ask you to supply your own parts or supplies. I asked Lee to just check my brakes all the way around and change out my radiator fluid and add some brake fluid. Very reasonable price for his labor. I will go back to him when my spark plugs, front brake pads are ready to be changed and to replace my shocks. Straight up guy in my opinion. Looks like a good place for basic smaller type jobs on my Toyota.
My car was acting up after the long COVID year of barely being driven. I thought it was the battery but I still had problems after replacing the battery. I took my car to Lee and he thoroughly checked every aspect of my car that could be the problem until he discovered it was my computer. I was so stressed because I needed my car for work. As the daughter of a mechanic, Lee was the mechanic my dad trusted to help me if my car ever had problems (since my dad no longer lives nearby). It should say a lot about Lee if another mechanic picked him to help his daughter. Lee has 25+ years of experience and does great work. I don’t have to fear being overcharged or tricked into spending more money on unnecessary things. It’s also super helpful that he’s open all week. He gets the job done. You can also tell he’s good because he doesn’t even have to advertise his business; he gets customers from word of mouth. I’m confident with his work and pricing when I go here. Only downsides are there aren’t appointments so you just have to be lucky that he doesn’t have a bunch of customers waiting for him or be willing to wait. TLDR: Pros: recommended by other mechanics, experienced, trustworthy, open all week, fairly priced Cons: no appointments, mild language barrier (between you and him, but he’s fluent in car 😆)
I saved a lot of money by coming to Mr. Lee. To replace all the brakes and front rotors on my Sienna, the dealer quoted me around $1K. Another shop quoted close to $700. I called Mr. Lee and he told me to get the parts from Autozone and he would just charge me for labor. I ended up saving close to $300. He was honest, detail oriented and friendly. He's not the type to make up non-existent problems on your car to charge you more. So glad I've found him. Will be taking all my cars here from now on.
