Sign in to reviewI always loved this place but last few times i e been, I’ve had abnormal encounters, this last time. I called to place an order at 5pm knowing they close at 5:30, I’ve never called but wanted to make sure they’ll take my order before i drive there. I was only getting one coffee. They accepted it & when i got there 10 mins later which i told her I would take they had everything closed and owner was sitting in her car outside and when she seen me she started to pull off. I honked to stop her so i can ask her why did this happened and she ignored me while still making a stop at the parking lot but never took me into consideration. Was very disappointed with this she could have told me it was too late to order since the beginning and i would had understood. Horrible customer service.
Can't go wrong with this place, quick service You're in and out in minutes Good place for a quick bite and on the road. Vietnamese sandwich and Vietnamese coffee combo that's the way to go
Came in 8 am on 3/30 and ordered 2 Bacon, egg and cheese in a Baguette and 1 grilled pork banh mi sandwiches. The eggs were Fluffy, full of butter and mayo, and the bacon was plentiful, at least 6 strips per 10 inch sandwhich. I did find a hair in my pork banh mi so I threw it away, didn't get a chance to try it.
I’m here for their Vietnamese ice coffee most of the time (it’s strong and delicious), and somehow they turned this coffee and sandwich place into a Vietnamese/Asian mini mart. Lots of asian products (from all over) available here. Parking is difficult since there are only a few spots outside, and also keep in mind this is a sketchy part of the city of Oakland (I always try to be alert in this type of neighborhood)
Another banger. Their bahn mi is always fresh with freshly baked bread. Their Bi Chay Mi (vegan sandwich) is my go to.
