Legit Trips

I’ve done 4 Legit Trips now and each one is better than the last! I just got back from the Italian Dolomite trip. The owners truly curate special and unique experiences I would never dream up on my own. I always thought Italy was all pasta and pizza, but this trip had Italy showing off all her natural wonders. We had experienced hikers along with people who haven’t hiked in years (and normally live below sea level), and there was a route and guide no matter what your speed was. I had no idea water this color existed! I always thought it was enhanced - I can assure you no filter was needed here- truly breathtaking! You can tell how much time and effort they put into planning these trips. Unfortunately my flight was delayed on the way in, which meant I was going to miss the Venice food tour, but my trip leader (Kristen) was all over it! She called the company and got me booked on the next one so I didn’t have to miss it. I have gone solo and also with friends, and recommend both! I love being able to share this experience with close friends, and have also made real connections with other legit trip travelers. So much so that we visit each other back in the US! If you are on the fence about booking, don’t be. I already have trips 5-8 planned!

This was my 2nd Legit Trip and it was just as great as the first! The activities for every day were planned with great attention detail. The tour supported local businesses and avoided crowds with unique experiences. Kristen was an excellent trip leader and kept us fully informed of any changes to the itinerary and suggestions for activities during free time. Already signed up for another trip!

Just went on another Legit Trips to Lapland and had an amazing time! From the very beginning everything was well organized and thoughtfully planned. The itinerary was perfect. The activities included were all really fun, and there was just the right mix of exploring and relaxing. Ana was an amazing trip leader! She was organized, thoughtful and so much fun to be around! Also, the people on this trip made it unforgettable! We all clicked so easily and I’m very grateful for the connections I made with everybody. I was genuinely sad to say goodbye. I’d highly recommend this company to anyone looking to travel with a fun group and have a memorable, stress-free experience!

I could not recommend Legit Trips enough for curated experiences with incredible individuals. Finland was my second trip with Legit, my first was a safari in Tanzania. Both were so well organized, thought out, and well executed. They think of everything and make sure you know exactly what your itinerary is and what you need. I feel so reassured that I’ll feel safe and taken care of no matter where in the world I go with Legit!

Legit Trips did an amazing job planning and executing the trip of a lifetime to hike the W trek in the Patagonia region of Chile. As a person who has taken up hiking just in the last three years, I was extremely grateful for the professionalism and experience of our guide Ana. I learned so much about hiking just by following her example. She also was totally knowledgeable with regards to the local history and all things with the local habitat. This was not an easy trek so I was that much more thankful for the achievement. A key element of Legit Trips was that when we experienced a flight issue in Punta Arenas, Kristen was able to assist us from afar which was very helpful. As I said and really do mean, this was the trip of a lifetime!
