I came in hoping for guidance and a confidence boost after dealing with hair loss for years. It took a lot for me to finally do something for myself, which is why I'm so disappointed to say this experience was not a positive one. The consultation cost $50 and lasted less than 10 minutes. I was given a hair topper that wasn't properly combed and was left to put it on myself. There was very little guidance as to whether it was the right piece for me, what options were available, or how it should fit and blend with my hair. I was quoted approximately $800 and agreed to move forward because I was told the topper would be cut and customized to match my hair. During the consultation, I specifically asked whether my hair would be cut and blended with the topper and was told yes. While communication leading up to the installation appointment wasn't great, I understand businesses get busy, so I didn't view that as a major issue. However, on installation day, my appointment lasted less than 25 minutes. The topper was clipped into my hair, and I had to ask for it to be cut and blended. The stylist was pleasant, but I never felt like she was genuinely interested in helping me achieve the best result. There were only a handful of cuts made to both my hair and the topper before I felt rushed out of the chair. Another disappointment was that my hair was not styled at all after the installation, nor was styling ever offered. I left the salon with unstyled hair, which made it difficult to determine whether the topper was right for me. This was especially confusing because the salon's social media showcases polished before-and-after transformations. As someone completely new to toppers, I was relying on professional guidance and expertise throughout the process, but I received very little. Instead, I felt like I was left to figure everything out on my own. After getting home, it became even more apparent that the topper had not been properly customized or blended to my hair. My natural ends did not match the topper, and the overall result was far from seamless. I did not leave feeling more confident. I left feeling uncertain, disappointed, and questioning whether my concerns mattered at all. The topper itself was approximately $389, yet I was charged around $800 total. I still do not understand what justified the additional cost when the service consisted of clipping the topper into place and making minimal cuts to blend it. For that price, I expected significantly more customization, attention to detail, and customer care. The stylist mentioned she would follow up with me afterward, but at this point I do not see the value in returning. Both appointments felt extremely rushed, and I never felt like enough time was spent understanding my concerns or ensuring I was happy with the final result. Instead, I felt dismissed and hurried through the process from beginning to end. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I cannot recommend this salon to women seeking hair loss solutions. Hair loss is an incredibly vulnerable experience, and I came in hoping to leave feeling supported and confident. Unfortunately, I left feeling the exact opposite.
